Chapter 9 : Brothers and sisters

I am humming the first opening of the Brotherhood series of Fullmetal Alchemist, calmly reading a manga to predict the future or see the current actions being done at that moment, while Ed is under the shower and Al playing with kitties. I checked the connection of my phone again, but of course, I don't have Internet. I decide to take my earphones and put them on before pressing the "on" button of the music. The most beautiful post of all the two series, Brothers, began and I can't help smiling listening to it. It's original version, the instrumental one, and the english one, it's and will always be the music I love the most. So powerful, so emotional. Just... Amazing. I don't hear the footsteps behind me and suddenly I feel someone taking my earphones from my ears.

-Ed! You have already finished?

-Yeah. What are you doing? What are those things? he asked pointing the earphones.

-It's something you put in your ears to hear music coming out of that.

I showed him my phone.

-And what is that?

-It's a phone. Well, a mobile phone, more exactly.

I giggled and took my earphones again, then thought about something.

I really, really think I belong to that world, and I just don't want to leave them. All my friends. There is an explosion coming from outdoor and we run toward the window to see what's going on. There is a lot of smoke and a building is broken.

... Fighting against the homunculi. No. Against Lust.

I run toward Lust, with my original form and stand in front of her, determined to win. She smirks but seems very angry.

List runs toward me, pulling out her spears, and I jump to dodge them before clapping my hands and creating a sword from the floor, with red sparks. I cut her nails and pierce her body with the blade before pulling away, on my guards. She regenerates and comes back to fight. I remember how colonel Mustang gets rid of her, in the manga, by burning her again and again and again. But I'm not Colonel Flamey, so I'll have to do something else. He also tries to take the stone from her body... If I can destroy it...

-Do you think you have the time to think about something else, Loneliness?

She is, all of a sudden, behind me and slices my throat. It hurts!! I regenerate, wincing, and stab her, turning around, right in her ouroboros mark. She yells in pain and, not wanting to hesitate anymore, I cut the flesh and pull out the Philosopher's stone from her chest. I know that if I don't destroy it quickly, she would come back to life again. She falls on the ground, slowly changing into dust, and I press the stone to destroy it, but something wraps around my waist, making me drop it and she revives. I punch my enemy, behind, and groan, disgusted. I am covered by saliva....

-Let Lust... Go! Gluttony says opening widely his mouth.

Erk.... I never liked him, and it wouldn't be now it will change... Someone falls on him, the foot on his face, and Lust is thrown away on a wall. Ed and Al.

-You two...

-What? You thought we'd let you fight alone? Ed smirks.

We smile and put our fists in front of us.
