Chapter 14 : Infernal spiral of despair

I raise an eyebrow at him, shrugging.

An anime vein pops out on both their heads and they begin to argue, forehead against forehead and fists raised. I sigh rolling my eyes and Mustang shakes his head before snapping his fingers and creating flames around them. Great, that would be enough to calm them down. Ed is the first to come out of the flames and directly punches Roy in the face with his right hand, hard, sending him fly in the blood. Ow... Envy comes out after, jumping on my brother to punch him too. Roy stands up and snaps his fingers again while Ed claps his hands and they begin to fight. Oh, did I forget to mention Envy? Of course, of course, I'm sorry to say he is fighting too, with those two brats. Not he isn't one too but well.... I sigh again before clapping my hands, far from them, creating a spear that I powerfully throw toward them, nearly touching Ed, cutting some of Mustang's hair and finishing in Envy's belly. The colonel, as pretentious as always, stands there, snapping his fingers again and sends his fire on the homunculus. Even if I don't want to admit it, he is strong. But sometimes stupid. Only sometimes....

-Jane, do you know a way to come out?

I nod looking at Envy and one of his face coming toward my brother. Shit, I know that will disturb him. I throw my spear toward it as my brother turns his head toward me, scared.

-He was already dead, Ed, and nothing could help it. Now focus on what I'm going to tell-

I jump to dodge the enormous tail, cutting myself in the process. Oh and too bad, he would find alone after all. We run toward a little stone circle in the middle of the blood and I see Ed raising his head toward a strange piece of rock coming out from the red liquid. Oh, we found it!

-Wait... What's this? It seems related to alchemy.... But I never saw it...

Waaaah shit!! I forgot!! As we saved Hughes, Maria Ross wasn't declared guilty and wasn't sent to the east! So Ed didn't go to Xerxes.... Oh my god I forgot all of this!! How couldn't I think about it?! No, of course, myself had to do something for the poor Hughes that had a family and all, but maybe could I ask my brother to go for some holidays in the desert? -Explain me, Jane! Ed exclaims, I'll try to find alone!
