I watched Mike storm out of the courtroom and I felt myself, looked down and I couldn't help but glare at Calum. How could not ever tell us this? I turned away from him and I felt Cal grabbing my arm. "Ash I am so sorry" Cal tried to apologize and I glared at him. "Don't you even dare" I took his arm off me harshly. "We trusted you Cal and you lied to all of us. I don't want anything to do with you" I scolded him before taking a seat where I was sitting in court and Cal sat down next to me. My questioning was fast and not that surprising at all compared to Calum's. The trial would continue the next day and I was so tired of being questioned or even seeing Andrew Bridges sitting right there staring at me. I shook my head, I grabbed Luke's hand and Luke let go of my hand. "Luke" I turned around to see Luke crossing his arms in annoyance. "How could be so mean to Cal? We all have secrets" Luke commented to me and I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, we do, but at least, we didn't get somebody killed" I replied to Luke. "Well I'm not talking to you unless you apologize to Cal" Luke stepped back from me and turned away walking with Cal and I sighed in annoyance and I walked outside and I was about to get in my car when I heard a whistle and I turned around and there Alex Rocker stood leaning against the courthouse  building. I walked up to him and leaned on the courthouse building. He offered a smoke to me and I declined. "What are you doing here?"  I asked Alex and Alex just rolled his eyes at me. "I came to support you. I remember you stating that you had a court date" Alex shrugged his shoulders. "Thanks," I stated to him and Alex just gave me a half-smile. "You know Ashton, I mean Ash, I'm going have to get used to calling you, Ash. You are really tough" Alex told me and I felt myself looking down. "Again thanks, Alex. How are you?" I now turned the questions towards him. "I'm fine. I'm not getting revenge" Alex blew out a smoke. "Really, what are you going to do now," I asked Alex and Alex just shrugged his shoulders. "No idea, but I'm sure I can figure it out" Alex sighed while leaning his head against the wall. "I miss him, Ash, how can you not be sad? It's like you moved on with your life," Alex stared into my eyes. "Because I can't do anything about Jesse, Alex your brother was my first everything: my first kiss, my first relationship, and my first best friend. I will never forget him, you know that." I gave Alex a small smile on my face. "I know, Ash here," Alex passed me a paper and I opened it and it showed his SAT scores along with ACT scores both with perfect scores. I felt my smile on my face get bigger. I grabbed and put him in a huge hug. "Okay Ash, let go of me" Alex kept pushing me away. "You didn't tell me you took the SAT or ACT" I hit his arm and he grabbed his arm in pain. "Because I didn't think I was going to do well on it" Alex shrugged his shoulders once again. "I guess I should be thinking of University huh" Alex commented to me and I felt myself smile. "Yeah I guess you should," I told him and I was getting ready to go back to my car and drive home when Alex grabbed my arm. "Ash, here" Alex handed me something else and I just looked at him confused. "I found this in Jesse's room, he has a whole bunch of stuff if you ever want to go and get his stuff," Alex walked away and waved bye. I looked down at the two letters that were in my hands.  One was addressed to me from Jesse and the other one was from Columbia University. Both were unopened and Ash just stared at it for awhile when he heard a cough and he looked up and there stood a woman with blonde hair that looked like she was in her 20s. "Hi, you must be Ash, my name is Amanda, mandy for short," She introduced herself. "Yeah, I'm Ash" I shook her hand and she nodded. "Sorry, my full name is Amanda Irwin" She introduced herself fully and I felt my jaw dropped and I just stared at her. She was pretty she had a round face with blue eyes and she was a brunette. "I'm sorry I should go, I kind of sprang this on you" Amanda I mean Mandy told me before getting ready to leave. "Wait, how's Lauren and Harry," I asked her while grabbing her arm. "They good" She smiled slightly at me.  "Hey do you want to get some coffee with me at Starbucks, so we can talk," Mandy asked me and I nodded. "Okay, I'll meet you there, "I told her and I got in my car and we drove to Starbucks. I parked my car before sitting down at a table with my newfound older sister. "I heard so much about you" Mandy grabbed my hand. "You have?" I asked her because I didn't think that our dad would have brought up me  at all.  "Yeah my mom talks about you a lot and she wants to meet you in person" Mandy took a sip of her  cream based frappuccino. "Let me guess my dad is totally against it," I commented bitterly. "Yeah but my mom doesn't care, she does whatever she wants" Mandy smirked at me. "How does dinner tomorrow sounds," Mandy asked me and I nodded. "We can really mess with dad," Mandy stated to me and I just nodded yes. I could tell that Mandy and I were going to get along very well. "I should go and Mandy it was nice to meet you," I started to get up and Mandy stopped me and she smiled a little bit at me. "Ash, you should know you have another sibling, his name is Daniel, but he goes by Danny, he's slightly older than Harry," Mandy kissed my cheek before leaving me to process everything. I waved bye at Mandy and I just leaned against my car while I saw her pull out of the parking lot of Starbucks. I reached into my jacket pocket and I pulled out the letters that Alex gave me. I opened the letter that was Columbia University. It read Dear Jesse, Congratulations, you have been admitted to the class of 2016.  I folded up the letter back into its envelope. The next letter I opened was the one that was addressed to me in Jesse's handwriting. I felt some tears clouding up my vision. I sat in my car while I unfolded the lined paper.

Dear Ashton,

If you reading this, it means that someone shot me and I ended up dying. I wrote this letter a long time ago. It also means that Alex found this letter and decided to give this letter to you. Ashton, don't be shocked over someone shooting me because to me it was always going to happen eventually. I never told you that but I am proud of you that you never joined a gang and I always envied how tough you were. Ashton you were always going place, please don't stop living your life because I'm dead. I will always be there for you every step. I will always love you, Ashton. You like a brother to me.

Sincerely,

Jesse Rocker.
