After visiting Luke with Ash, I held a diploma in my hands. It belonged to Cal's and I felt weird. I was just stuck in my car just staring at the hospital building. "Well, aren't you going to go inside" I heard Ash said to me and I turned around. I totally forgot that Ash was sitting next to me. "Of course, I am" I folded my arms across my chest. "You not making an move now are" Ash raised an eyebrow up and I just glared at Ash. Ash shrugged his shoulders and looked outside the car window. "Fine, I'm going" I got up from my seat and slammed the front door. Ash did the same thing but for the passenger seat. "Why are you so nervous" Ash asked me but I couldn't answer him instead I focused going to Cal's hospital room. I walked into the ICU and I looked around. There was no Cal and I saw Ash turned towards me while staring at me with shock. A nurse came into the room, she had a smile on her face. "You must be here for Calum Hood" The nurse stated to me and I just nodded at her. "He's out of the ICU unit" The nurse informed me. I felt a smile on my face and the nurse smiled back at me. "He's in room 220 on the second floor" The nurse once again informed me and I rushed out of the ICU unit. I quickly pushed the lift repeatedly hoping it would open so enough. It finally did and I pushed the second floor. I quickly signed in the hospital on the second floor. The nurse smiled me at me and I realized all these nurses were nice and friendly. I opened Calum's door and just like that. Cal did look so much better and I sat down next to Cal's bed. I grabbed his hands and I just sighed. "Hey Cal, you missed the most boring graduation. You lucky that you had the chance to miss it" I told him while still holding Cal's hands. "Ash and I saw Luke, he looked really healthy" I continued to fill Cal into what he missed. "Oh, and get this Aiden was charged with attempted murder so now we won't have to worry about him when you wake up. I know you will wake up because Cal, you wouldn't want to leave your friends. You have a huge list of things to accomplish" I was talking to Cal, it was like he couldn't hear me so why was I talking to him. I sighed and pulled my hands away from him and looked around the room. I thought about Cal and his experiences with hospitals. Cal must have spent a lot of time in the hospital dealing with his cystic fibrosis. It wasn't like I knew a lot about this disease, all I knew was that people with cystic fibrosis don't tend to live long maybe at most they live till they reach the age of 25. "Gosh, Cal I would hate to be stuck here in this hospital more than a day" I commented to him while I pushed Cal's hair back. "It seems that we need to touch up your blonde streak" I told him with a playful smile on my face. I just sighed while I looked at his heartbeat. He was still alive and it would be only matter of time for Cal waking up. I felt someone grab my shoulder and there stood Perrie. I was shocked to see Perrie. She looked different. "Hey Mike" Perrie greeted me before taking a seat next to me. "Um, hey, I thought you were out celebrating with your families" I said to Perrie. "There's only so much I can take of my family" Perrie shrugged her shoulders. "How are you doing" I asked Perrie and Perrie once again shrugged her shoulders. "I'm fine, my parents are making me see a therapist" Perrie confessed to me and I looked at her. "It seems that Cal is getting better" Perrie pointed out to me. "Yeah, he is. I never told you sorry about what happened at prom" I apologized to her.  Perrie shook her head while grabbing my hands and she gave me a soft smile. Perrie did look amazing in her lilac hair color.

"It's not your fault

"It's not your fault. It's Aiden's fault" Perrie replied to my apology. "Then why do i feel like it's all my fault" I told her and Perrie shook her head. "Because Cal is not awake and Mike you don't want to put the blame on anyone. I also think it's because you care about Cal" Perrie informed me with a sad smile on her face. "Why won't he wake up" I asked out loud while just staring at Cal who still had the breathing tube down his throat and IV connected to his arms. "He will Mike. I bet you never been a patience person" Perrie nudged me. I shook my head while slightly laughing. "i think my mom would agree with you fully" I answered her and I took hold of Cal's hand once again. Perrie walked around to the other side of Cal. "I hope he wakes up soon because Mike, this year was the first time I seen you this happy" Perrie pointed out to me. "i think I love him" I confessed to Perrie and I could see Perrie face lit up and i rolled my eyes at her excitement. I felt a finger touch me underneath my hand.I looked down and there it stood a finger moving. "Perrie get the doctor" I told her and Perrie rushed out. "Cal, it's me, open your eyes for me" I told Cal and Cal only moved his hands and I just sighed. "Cal, I know you are awake please Cal. I love you please open those big brown eyes for me" I was still waiting for Perrie to return with the doctor. I saw Cal slowly open his eyes but nonetheless he did it. "Cal" I rushed hugging him tight.
