I couldn't move. I just was sitting in the chair. I felt like everything was happening so fast. I hadn't washed my hands. Ash had to force me to wash my hands and he practically washed it for me. Cal was in surgery fighting for his life and I couldn't do anything. I felt anger slowly building up inside of me. "Mike," Ash told me and I slowly faced him. Ash looked so worn out, Luke was in the hospital fighting for his life. "I'm sorry" I whispered to Ash and Ash just gave me a small smile. "Why are you apologizing to me" Ash faced me and I shook my head. "Because Luke is fighting for his life and I haven't done anything for you" I stared intensely Ash's face, his eyes were puffy and red like he had been crying. "Mike, I don't expect you to be in the mood to comfort me. Luke is going to be fine. I know it and so will Cal" Ash placed a hand on my shoulder. "There was so much blood in him. Ash, I can't help but feel like it's my fault he was shot" I quickly buried my head into Ash's shoulders. "It's not your fault" Ash whispered to me. I heard footsteps and I looked at where the footsteps were and there stood Ryan with Jade on his arm. "Hey Mike, how are you doing" Ryan took a seat next to me and I kept shaking my head over and over again. "I love him Ryan" I turned towards Ryan and Ryan gave me a small smile. "He loves you too Mike. I think we all could see how much he loves you. He will fight to be here with you and his little son Holden is it" Ryan nudged me and a small smile came onto my face. "Thanks, guys" I looked down at my feet. "We are your friends Mike. Don't ever forget that" Ash gave me a small smile. It was so quiet and I couldn't help but tap my feet. "Mike" I heard my name being called and I looked up, there stood my parents standing next to each other not arguing. I ran up to them. "Mike, I am so sorry" My mom stated to me and I didn't care about anything. I hugged my mom tightly while tears slipped from my eyes. "I love him mommy, he can't die" I sobbed to my mom while sobbing into her chest. "Oh hunny, Cal loves you so much okay" Mom pulled me away and wiped my tears but only more tears slipped from my eyelids. "Your father brought you some clothes to get changed into" Mom handed me the clothes. "I can't leave, what if the doctor has some news" I went to go back to my seat when Ash grabbed my arm. "Mike, you are covered in Cal's blood and the surgery is going to take another 2 hours" Ash reminded me and I looked down at my tux and I felt bile coming up my throat and I nodded. "Come on, let's get you changed" Ash lead me into the restroom. I got changed into my sweatsuit and Ash put my tux in a plastic bag. "You feel better" Ash asked me. "Yeah a little bit. How are you, Ash and tell me the truth" I turned now to focus on Ash because Ash was comforting me. "I wish the doctors would just tell us something about our boyfriends" Ash complained while pushing his hair back, a habit that Ash does when he's hiding something. "Ash what aren't you telling me" Ash turned to face me while he shook his head. "What am I supposed to say to his family? I'm his boyfriend and I should have known that he wasn't eating" Ash was pacing back and forth. I grabbed by his shoulders and just glared at him. "You listen to me now Ash Fletcher Irwin, you do not control what Luke Hemmings does when you are not around. People with eating disorders are good with pretending that they are eating and actually gaining weight" I informed him. "Each person wiht eating disorder has secrets or tricks up their sleeves on how they can manipulates people" I continued on my ramble and I saw Ash just sighed before facing the restroom sink. He washed his face but he still looked tired of everything. Ash and I finally walked out of the restroom. "Are you both okay" My dad asked me and Ash and Ash just nodded before sitting next to me and to my right was Ryan. "Did the doctor come out yet" I asked my dad and my dad just shook his head. "Ash" I called out to him and Ash turned to me. "What's wrong with Luke, I mean what was going on when he was being brought in" I asked Ash because I couldn't remember except for the fact that he passed out. "His heart stopped beating and was slowing down. He could die from this" Ash stated to me and Ash put his head in his arms and I patted his back. "When I was dealing with my eating disorder, doctors said that I could have died because I was pretty close to rupturing my esphogus and now I have acid reflux disorder" I confessed and the room got pretty quiet. "The difference is that I had bulima and Luke has anorexia" I finished my statement. "I should have tried harder" Ash stated out loud. "Ash, honey, we tried everything to make Mike get better but Mike just kept relapsing" Mom told Ash now she was sitting in front of Ash. "I had to want it for myself Ash. If Luke doesn't want help for his eating disorder then he will never get better. Trust me on this a trip to the hospital will give him a wake up call and I promise you that Luke will get help" I patted Ash back and Ash just gave me a small smile. "Calum Hood" I looked up at the doctor and walked up to him. "How's my boyfriend" I asked the doctor and the doctor just stared at me.
