I was looking at myself in the mirror and Alex was putting on my finishes touches of my tux. Alex leaned back and gave me a smile on his face. I couldn't help but smile back at him. "You look amazing Ash," Alex told me and I gave him another one of my smiles. "Yeah I guess I do huh" I looked at myself once more in the mirror. "Yeah you do. Luke won't be able to keep his hands to himself. Tonight might be your lucky night" Alex winked at me while I rolled my eyes at him. It was moments like these that I wished Alex had a filter of some sort. "Hey, I have something for you," I told Alex and Alex raised his eyebrow. I handed him a piece of paper, it was a prom ticket. "I thought maybe you would like to experience a rich kids prom" I looked at Alex and Alex looked shocked and the doorbell rang and I quickly got the doorbell with Alex following behind me. "Here is your prom date. Perrie Edwards" I announced to Alex and I saw Alex's face was filled with more shocked. Perrie did look amazing in her prom dress, I couldn't lie about that. "You look beautiful" I whispered in Perrie's ears and she blushed. "Thank you Ash" Perrie smiled at me and turned towards Alex. "So will you be my prom date," Perrie asked Alex that was in front of her and Alex just nodded. "I would if I have a tux" Alex crossed his arms. "You do, it's in your room," I told him with a sly smile on my face. Alex rushed upstairs and I shook my head. "Thank you for doing this Perrie," I told her and Perrie just smiled at me once again. "It's no problem Ash. A friend of yours is a friend of mine" Perrie hugged me and we waited on the couch for none other than Alex to come down. Alex looked handsome and I felt a smirk coming onto my face. "What," Alex asked me and I shook my head. "You look really handsome Alex" Perrie walked up to Alex and grabbed his hand and I just stood there. "Well, let's get to the Hemmings" I clapped my hands together but Ms. Rocker stopped us. "I need to take pictures of my favorite boys going to prom" She begged us and normally I hate taking pictures but she let me stay at her house while I tried to ignore my mother. So here I was with Perrie in the middle of me and Alex. All three of us were smiling as Ms. Rocker kept taking photos non-stop. I could tell that Alex was getting annoyed with his mom and I had to admit that I thought it was so funny. I couldn't stop myself from laughing. "Mom that's enough, we going to miss the prom" Alex complained and his mom finally stopped taking pictures. We went into the limo and I saw Alex looking around the limo with amazement. "Wow, this is amazing. Thank you, Ash, for inviting me to your prom" Alex was just smiling at me and for the first time ever I noticed how Alex's smile was different, it seemed more real. I could tell how unhappy Alex has been since Jesse died. As Jesse best friend, I was in charge of getting Alex to be okay. I think I was doing okay. I just nodded at him. We finally arrived at the Hemmings and I got out and so did Perrie. Alex was sitting in the limo. "You coming" I motioned to the Hemmings front door and Alex shook his head no. "Come on, you are my friend Alex and as my friend you are obligated to talk to my other friends" I crossed my arms and he looked around and sighed. "Trust me, Luke is not a snob and Mike doesn't want to be like his parents and lastly Cal doesn't care about money" I elaborated at Alex. Alex finally got out of the car with a small smirk on his face. "I know you wouldn't hang out with snobs" Alex walked away to Perrie grabbing her hand and Perrie gave him a soft smile.  The door opened and there stood Luke with the biggest smile on his face and he pushed Alex and Perrie away. He ran to me and I grabbed him spinning him around with a smile on my face. He placed his lips on mine and I kissed him back with the same or more amount of passion.  I felt his lips forming a smile and I pulled away after Alex gave us a slight chuckle. "Hey, don't stop on the account that Malum and Perrie and I are staring at you" Alex joked and I rolled my eyes at him once more. We were about to get into the limo when I saw my mom. "Ashton" Mom called out to me and I quickly hopped into the limo without addressing her. Mike stared at me. "It's nobody," I told everybody but Luke was smarter than what people gave him credit for.  "It was your mom wasn't it" Luke whispered to me and I just sighed. "It's whatever. I'm not letting my mom ruin my only prom I ever will have" I whispered back to Luke. "Okay, but you can't avoid your mom forever," Luke told me and I rolled my eyes. "I know and eventually, I will talk to her but I am not in a rush to see her or hear her complain about how I am ruining her life by talking to my half siblings" I faced Luke completely and Luke sighed and I knew he wanted to say something but held back because Luke knew I didn't want to talk about my mom when we on our way to home.  Luke just cuddled into my side. "You look hot" Luke whispered into my ear and I smiled at him kissing his cheek while we got out of the limo and entered the venue. It was amazing in there and I saw Cal and Mike rushing to the bathroom. It was shocking on how Ryan took Jade to prom and not to mention Mike was actually being civilized to someone. I guess Cal has done something with Mike and I am glad. It's so good to see the old Mike from freshman year. Mike seems much happier.
