After I got off the phone with Luke, I looked at the clock and I looked at Mike he was tapping his hands. I was sitting behind the register while Mike was in the middle of the guitar section of the store. This lady came up to the register and I put a smile on my face before I greeted her. "Hello welcome to the music store will that be all" I asked her and the lady just smiled at me. "Yeah all my son wants for Christmas is a guitar and drum set but I don't want to hear the noise of the drums" The lady spoke to me and I nodded because my mom was the same way. "That's understandable but maybe put the drum set in the garage so that way you won't hear it. That's what my mom did" I told the lady while I rung her up scanning the guitar. "Hold it" The lady told me and I looked up at her. "Now which one of those drum sets would be perfect for a 13 going on 14 year old kid" The lady questioned me and I pointed to an all black drum set. "This one is perfect for a kid that just starting" I told her and she nodded. "I'll take it" The lady walked back to the register and i looked at her shocked because she didn't even look at the price of the drum set. I rung her up and she paid for all of her items. "Ashton is it, thank you I think I will now be the coolest mom ever" The lady hugged me tight and I smiled at her and with that she walked out of the store. I leaned against the counter and Mike came over to me with a smile on his face. "What you smiling about" I asked him and Mike just shook his head. "No reason" Mike commented before looking down at his phone. I shook my head at him and just smirked at him. "Thinking about Cal huh" I told him now Mike was leaning against the counter with me. "Yeah, you know Cal really wants to go to prom but prom isn't really my thing and he knows that" Mike took off his snapchat and put it back on. "Mike relationships are about compromise. If prom to Cal means so much to him maybe you should suck it up and take him" I advised him and Mike sighed but he agreed with me. I heard the bell went off and I turned and I saw Aiden walked into the store. "Um, hey Aiden what can I do for you" I asked him and Aiden crossed his arms. "I want to talk to Mike" Aiden stated to me and I shook my head. "You just missed him, he went on his lunch break" I shrugged my shoulders while moving guitars placing them away and fixing the display center. "Well, can I go into the break room" Aiden suggested to me and I shook my head no. "Sorry Aiden that's for employees" I told him and Aiden crossed his arms in annoyance. "Just so you know Mike is off limits. Aiden, he's dating Cal" I informed Aiden and Aiden shook his head over and over again. "When you guys slept, Mike was drunk and he was hurt but he still cared about Cal" I elaborated to Aiden causing him to walk out the store. I walked to the backroom and Mike was sitting there eating a sandwich. "Aiden stopped by and I kind of told him that you and Cal are dating" I sat down in front of Mike and Mike leaned his head back with his hands covering his face. "Why can't he take a hint. I don't like him" Mike complained to me. "Mike normally one does not sleep with someone unless they have feelings for that person" I told him while patting his shoulder before getting up from the chair. "I should get back to work" I told Mike and Mike nodded. "Thanks Ash for what you did back there for me" Mike gave me a half smile and I just smiled back at him while walking back to the front counter. I was tapping my fingers onto the counter. I sighed while looking at the drumset. I sure do miss playing the drums and i pushed back my hair. Mike came out of the backroom and he was hanging up more items. Mike was just smiling a little bit at me. I sighed while leaning down onto the counter. "We have to practice for prom" I announced to Mike and Mike turned around quickly and he shook his head. "Prom isn't till a couple more months" Mike told me and I just shrugged my shoulders. "We don't even have a song to perform" I crossed my arms at Mike. "You boyfriend got that handle. Cal tells me that Luke is pretty amazing at writing songs" Mike informed me and I looked down at my hands. The door opened and there stood Aiden once again. "Mike" Aiden greeted Mike. "Can we talk alone" Aiden asked Mike and Mike just shook his head no. "I have work Aiden and believe it or not I care about my job. I already took my break for the day and I am not taking another break" Mike snapped at Aiden and Aiden backed away. "Mike, is it true you and Calum are together" Aiden asked Mike and I saw the old tough guy Mike come out. "Why in the world does it concern you and maybe I am because Aiden I always had feelings for Cal. It's Cal not Calum got it" Mike growled at Aiden. "Leave me the fuck alone" Mike cursed at him and I knew I had to stop him and I got in between him and Aiden. "Go home Aiden" I commanded him and Aiden walked out of the store with his head down. I sighed before telling Mike to calm the fuck down because to be honest I was kind of terrified of him. Mike just sighed and with that he gave me a small smile. "Let's get this place ready to close up" Mike stated while started to clean up the store. I was locking up the instruments because we didn't want this store to be robbed or anything. Mike and I finally locked up the store. I got in Mike's car and Mike looked at me weirdly. "Luke called me, said he needed me to come over after work" I informed Mike and Mike started turning the car around in the direction of Luke's house. Mike and i got to Luke's house in no time and Luke opened the door and pulled me into his room. I sat down on his bed and Luke's eyes were puffy and red like he had been crying a lot. "What's wrong Luke" I asked him and Luke shook his head. "I can't eat Ash. I'm scared" Luke sobbed out to me and he was crying in my chest. I grabbed him and held him. "I really do try to eat but I can't and I don't want to" Luke confessed to me and I wiped his tears. "Hey, you listen to me. I do not blame you nor am I going to break up with you because of what you dealing with. I relapsed a lot too Luke" I confessed to me and for the rest of the evening me and Luke cuddled each other in bed. Me kissing luke's head once in awhile.
