I was meeting up with Mike to get to the hospital to visit good old Cal who was still in the ICU fighting for his life but Luke was now out of the hospital but he went to a rehab nearby the hospital. Luke's parents and brothers, I guess was desperate to get him the help before all of his organs shut down. I also happened to know that Luke didn't have his cell phone because stupid rehab center took his cell phone. I didn't know how Luke was doing in rehab. In my opinion it did upset me that I couldn't see Luke as much and the fact that Luke won't be able to walk for graduation. I stared at myself in the mirror before wrapping an bandana around my head. I smiled to myself while I put on my boots and my mom was leaning against the wall. I looked up at her and she smiled at me. "You going out" Mom asked me and i nodded. "Yeah going to visit Cal at the hospital with Mike" I answered her with a smile on my face. "I hope Cal is okay or better" Mom gave me a hug and I walked out the door. I saw Mandy standing outside of my house. i raised an eyebrow at her. "What are you doing here"  I asked her before hugging her tight. "Ben wanted to talk to you" Mandy smiled at me before moving out of the way to expose Ben. "Ben" I greeted him and Ben just smiled at me, his hands tucked into his pants and facial hair. It looked like he hadn't shaved for weeks. "Hey Ash" Ben continued to smile at me. "What are you doing here Ben. It's not safe down here for both of you " I informed them and Ben just walked straight up to me and placed his hands on my shoulders. "I thought I should tell you, you are on the list to see Luke" Ben told me and I felt a smile being placed on my lips and I hugged Ben tight. "Thank you" I said to Ben and Ben just nodded. "You are his boyfriend Ash. I can't keep you two apart and my family is getting that" Ben told me before grabbing Mandy's hand. "I mean it thank you Ben. My sister is lucky to have you" I gave Ben a compliment. "Thank you Ash, that means a lot coming from you" Ben shook my hand before entering his car and Mandy was holding my hands. "I hope your friend gets better" Mandy told me and I just nodded at Mandy. "I guess you guys should go. Don't want to keep Ben waiting" I stated to my sister and Mandy just sighed. "You really want me to leave don't you" Mandy crossed her arms while looking slightly upset with me. "I told you Mandy to never come down here, it's not safe here" I stated to Mandy once more and Mandy just sighed. "It just that Ben wanted to see you" Mandy shrugged his shoulders. "i know and I apperciate but now you need to go considering down here there is a gang war brewing" I informed Mandy and Mandy eyes went wide. "And you staying in this town why in the world would you do that" Mandy was now shaking her head at me. "This is where me and my mom lives, it's not like we can pack up our bags and live somewhere else" I crossed my arms while sighing. "You're right I should get back to Ben" Mandy turned and got into Ben's BMW passenger seat. Mandy faced forward and I shook my head before getting into my own car. I turned the ignition on and I put the car into drive. I plugged my phone into my car CD player and I started driving about to pass Alex's mom house and I sighed. I guess I should pick my stuff up from Alex's house. I parked my car getting out and I ringed the doorbell and Alex came to the door without a shirt on. "Ashton" Alex crossed his arms. I felt my jaw tensed up and I felt myself glaring at Alex. "Alex" I responded back to him with the same tone. "What can I do for you" Alex stated to me and I rolled my eyes. "I still need to get my stuff" I told him before pushing my way into the house. Alex was now rolling his eyes at me. I went to the guest room and Alex followed me into the room and was staring at me. "Can you stop staring at me" I finally blurted out to Alex. "You know you act liek you are so much better than me just because you didn't join a gang" Alex stated to me harshly and I rolled my eyes. "Oh, so this is what this is all about because Everett asked me to be apart of the gang before you" I was in Alex face and I pushed him away from me. "Grow the hell up" I commented to him before grabbing everything that belonged to me and I stuffed into a box. "I can't believe you don't want to get revenge for what that gang did to Jesse" Alex glared at me and I just sighed at him. "You think I wasn't upset with what happened to Jesse. He was shot in my house and you think I don't think about him every single day" I shouted at him before storming out of the house. I put the box back into my trunk and hopped into my front seat and started my car. I started driving to the hospital and parked my car and right there I saw Mike. I walked to the curb and touched Mike's shoulder. "Hey Mikes" I greeted him and Mike just smiled a little bit at me. "Hey Ash, you look like you had one rough night" Mike mentioned to me. "You have no idea" I stated to him. "Well, let's go visit Cal" Mike nudged me and we walked into the hospital building. We hopped onto the elevator and we went up the elevator. The elevator door opened and Mike and I walked into Cal's room. "He looks better than he did when we last visited him" Mike gave me a smile before sitting down in a chair next to Cal's bed. I just stood at the door and watched Mike claiming his love for Cal and Mike told him how little Holden holding up.  I felt somewhat sadden by the sight but Mike held hope that Cal was going to wake up eventually. "Come on Mike, we have to go to school" I motioned for Mike to get out of his seat and Mike just nodded. We walked out of the ICU area and took the elevator down to the lowest level and when we did it was the worst moment of our life. "The hospital is currently on lockdown" The speaker stated and I just stared at Mike and Mike looked actually scared. "Well, well isn't it Ashton Irwin" Everett stated to me once again while waving a gun in my face and I looked around and there stood Alex Rocker with him. "This is crazy Everett even for you" I crossed my arms and Everett shook his head. "No, it isn't. Jesse was shot in your house. He died in your house. You are responsible for his death" Alex now pointed the gun at me and for the first time I felt sick to my stomach, worried for everybody's safety and mine.  "Alex put down the gun" I spoke softly to him and Alex just shook his head. He was going to kill me and there was nothing I could do. Then the door barged in again and there was ALex's rival gang. Alex pointed the gun at the rival gang. "You killed my brother" Alex exclaimed to their leader, Wyatt.  "I did no such thing maybe you should talk to Everett" Wyatt exclaimed to Alex and everybody else in the hospital. I looked at Everett, my eyes went wide and I breathed a sigh. "You killed Jesse why would you do that" I now focused my attention on Everett. "Oh come on, Jesse was important to you and nobody turns me down" Everett pointed the gun and I looked over at Mike who was backed up into the wall. "You shoot Ash, I'll shoot you" Alex stated in a menacing way that kind of terrified me to pieces. Alex winked at me and then Everett turned around so quickly and shot Alex in the chest and I looked over at Wyatt and he passed me his gun. I pointed the gun at Everett. "You shot my friend" I shouted at him and Mike rushed to stop the bleeding at Alex. "You don't have the willpower to shoot me" Everett walked up to me and I just shook my head at him. "I know how to shoot this gun. I learned how to operate a gun since I was ten" I told him and I could see the shock building up inside of Mike. "We need a doctor, he's losing a lot of blood" Mike scremed and the doors banged open and the police handcuffed Everett. I handed the gun to one of the officer and rushed over to Alex. "Hey, Alex you'll be okay I promise you" I told him while taking over for Mike. Doctors soon swarmed Alex and I watched Alex get swept up but i knew that it was too late. Alex Rocker was gone and I felt the tears go down my cheeks. "Ash, let's go to my house" Mike motioned me for the exit. I turned around and sobbed into his chest and Mike hugged me tight.
