As soon as I saw Cal leaving my house, I sighed and I saw my phone was ringing. I answered it quickly without looking at the caller ID. "Hey Mike, you want to go try on tuxes" Ash greeted my ears and I mumbled. "Not really, do I have to get a tux seriously" I questioned him because to be honest I hate dressing up. "Yup, so I'll pick you up in an hour or two" Ash hung up the phone quickly so I couldn't deny him. I laid down on my bed annoyed with Ash. Don't get me wrong I love making Cal happy. Going to this prom is going to make Cal happy so I guess I have to suck it up because I already asked him out in front of the school so there's no turning back now. My dad leaned against my bedroom door, I looked at him. "What," I asked him and he shrugged his shoulders. "I told you that you really cared about Cal. Mike, you put on that tough act but I see my little boy in there" My dad walked out the door, I felt myself scrunch up my eyebrows and shook my head. My dad confuses the heck out of me. I hopped in the shower and I washed my hair. I heard my phone ring and I answered it while I wrapped my towel around my waist. "Hello," I answered it. "Hey, Mike" I heard Aiden voice filling my ears. This was getting out of hand and he was getting on my last damn nerves. "What do you want Aiden" I snapped at him. "I just wanted to talk to you" Aiden answered me. I rolled my eyes while grabbing some boxers to put on. I put on a top and put some black skinny jeans on along with black boots. I heard the car horn honked and I rushed downstairs to grab an apple to eat on the way out. "Look, I just don't understand why you back together with Cal, after all, he did to you" Aiden spoke out and I couldn't roll my eyes. I heard a bush moved and I looked towards it. I got in Ash's car which was still horrible and practically could break down any moment. "Okay, this is the last fucking time I am telling you. I don't care about you nor do I like you and I want you to leave me the fuck alone" I hung up the phone. "Who was that?" Ash asked me and I shook my head. "Tell me why, I slept with Aiden. What in the world could possess me to sleep with Aiden? He won't fucking leave me alone" I complained to Ash and Ash just shrugged his shoulders while pulling out of the car driveway. "Don't know what to tell you" Ash pulled into the mall parking lot. I got out of the car by not unlocking the car door but by jumping over it. Ash glared at me and I just gave him a smirk on my face. "You need a new car" I simply stated to Ash and Ash shook his head. "Can't afford a new car" Ash shrugged his shoulders. We walked into the mall and I stared at Ash. "If we going to be here let's go to hot topic at least" I pulled Ash into the hot topic and I saw Ash looking around. He looked truly uncomfortable. I sighed and Ash smiled a little bit. "I know you used to shop here" I crossed my arms at Ash and Ash rolled his eyes. "So what" Ash crossed his arms at me too. Now it was my turn to roll my eyes. "Don't you miss wearing black skinny jeans" I tilted my head and Ash looked at some of the clothing options that were there in hot topic. I smiled to myself a little bit. Ash and I walked out of the store with bags from hot topic. I nudged him and Ash rolled his eyes. Ash and I walked into a store that I never heard of in my entire life. I saw Cal and Luke were in the store. It looked like they were checking out. I ran behind Cal and put my head on his shoulder and Cal turned around fast. He wrapped his arms around me tight and I kissed his cheek. "What are you doing here," Cal asked me and I motioned to Ash. Ash was busy with Luke. "Ash, wanted us to check out tuxes for prom and such" I shrugged my shoulders. "Okay, well I see you later then" Cal kissed my cheek and Luke walked away with Cal. I watched my boyfriend leave the store. Ash was too busy checking out Luke. I could tell he was looking at his butt. "Why didn't you tell me that you were going to give Luke a promise ring," I asked him while searching through the tux selection. "I wanted it to be a surprise for just Luke," Ash smiled at me. I rolled my eyes at him that was such a typical answer from Ash Fletcher Irwin. "How about this color," Ash asked me and I rolled my eyes. "Plain black, I was thinking color such as blue" I stated to Ash and Ash and I walked into the dressing room. I looked at myself in the mirror once and walked out to see Ash gave me a thumbs up. I guess I didn't look too bad. Ash and I tried a whole bunch before I chose the blue tux but I couldn't tell you what color Ash chose because he didn't want me to see what he got.  Ash and I walked out of the store and I heard my name being called. I turned around and there stood my mother. The woman I couldn't stand at all. "What do you want Karen," I spat out and Ash turned to leave to give me a moment with my mother but I shook my head. "Mike, we need to talk about what went in that trial with your uncle" My mom tried to touch me but I shook my head. "Listen here, Karen, you lucky that I didn't tell the court that you knew. That I told you what uncle Andrew was doing to me" I was leaving but she sighed. "Look, thank you" Karen crossed her arms. "I don't ever want to see you again" I left with Ash before she could say anything. I put my bags in the trunk. Ash looked at me. "Are you okay? You actually crying," Ash pointed out to me and I shrugged while wiping my tears. "I'm fine. I just don't ever want to see her again" I looked out the window while Ash drove me home. I walked through the door to see my father drinking coffee. "Mike, what's wrong," Dad asked me and I just went into my bedroom. I laid down in my bed thinking. Why was I crying about seeing my mom? I felt my eyes closed and when I opened my eyes it was morning. My alarm was being so annoying and I threw it to the wall. My phone was ringing and I answered it. "Hello," I mumbled while forcing myself to get out of the bed. "GET UP," Cal screamed into the face. I pulled the phone away from my ear. "Geez, I was already up for your information babe," I told him but already hung up the phone. I sighed before going in to take a shower. I put on a pair of black skinny jeans along with a green day shirt along with a jean jacket that was bagging. I walked outside to my car and I drove to school. I saw Cal got out of the car and Cal rushed up to me kissing me on the lips. I kissed him back and Cal stopped kissing me and grabbed my hand. "Ash told me what happened at the mall. Are you ok?" Cal asked me and I nodded.  "I'm more than fine," I kissed his cheek. I saw Ash and Luke holding each other hands. I smile at them both. "Hey guess who got prom tickets" Ash handed me a pair of prom tickets to me. "Thanks" I gave Ash our secret handshake. Ash handed back my change for the prom tickets. "Hey, I think the principal wants to talk to us" Luke suggested  to me and I raised an eyebrow. Luke and I walked into the principal's office. I never get called into the principal's office unless it's for trouble. I sat down in the chair next to Luke Hemmings. The principal looked between both of us. "Congrats you both are the valedictorian or salutatorian. Mr. Clifford, you are the valedictorian and Mr. Hemmings you are the salutatorian" The principal announced clapping and he held such a huge smile on his face. Luke and I walked out of the principal office. "Luke, I am sorry that you not valedictorian. I can reject it" I told him and Luke waved me off. "Hey nothing wrong with being salutatorian" Luke patted me on my shoulder.
