30 Days with Genevieve
Chapter 11
"So that's why you chose her? Because you are truly, madly, and deeply in love with her?" I asked disappointed. Peter just nodded. "That's pathetic, dude. How can you fall in love with someone you don't even know?"
"I do know her," he said. "She does not know me, but I see her everyday."
"Why her?" I asked. "There are so many other girls, and you have feelings for this one girl?"
"She has something," he said.
"Dude, she used to hate men!" I exclaimed. "How is that even normal?"
"She never said she hated men. You and your friends assumed so. She just did not have any interest in them until she saw you. You showed her how to believe!" he exclaimed.
"That's not true!" I exclaimed. "She didn't even like me!"
"At the beginning, but then she saw you could show her many things her dad would never let her see. She did not hate men. She just pushed them away because she was way too scared of being betrayed, just like..." Peter stopped talking as he realized he was telling me more than I should know.
"I get it," I said. "You are not allowed to tell me more."
"Sorry," he said sheepishly.
"So that's why you sent the note? So that I would hurry up and start making your platonic love happy?" I asked.
He nodded. "Yeah. But that brought me problems."
"You could have chosen Heather," I said. "That girl is dying for me, anyway."
"You would never make her cry happy tears," he explained. "She is too heartless for that."
"I guess you are right," I said. "What are you going to do about your unavoidable love towards Genevieve, though?"
"Nothing," he said sadly. "I guess I will just have to deal with it."
"I'm sorry, man," I said. "But I think it will be better for you to stay here at my room tomorrow. I don't think you should be hanging out with Genevieve for a while."
"It's okay. I will stay here the whole day. I guess you won't need me at school," he said while yawning. Then, he took a pillow and a blanket and placed them on the floor. "Goodnight, Sean."
"Goodnight."

Day 10:
I walked to Genevieve's locker happily. She was taking out her books. Would I be crazy if I told you that she looked extremely adorable while doing that? I don't know what was happening to me. Peter was right. I liked her, and the thought of me leaving her was unbearable.
"What's up?" she asked once she saw me. I gave her a weak smile and shrugged.
"Nothing much. What are you doing?" I asked.
She smirked. "I'm cleaning my locker. You should clean yours, too. This is the last day of classes after all."
"I'll do it later," I said. "I'll pick you up at 7:00 p.m, okay?"
"What for?" she asked while scowling.
"Um, the dinner at my house," I reminded her. Her face lit up and she smiled.
"Oh, I totally forgot," she said. "Yeah, that time is fine."
"Cool," I said smiling. She slammed her locker's door once it was empty and smiled.
