30 Days with Genevieve
Chapter 12
Day 11:
"Wake up!" exclaimed Peter while tickling me. I could not help but laugh and open my eyes.
"S--stop it!" I exclaimed between fits of laughter.
"Not until you get up and get dressed!" he exclaimed.
"O--okay! B--but please stop!" I exclaimed while laughing even harder. Peter stopped and smirked.
"I'm glad you are awake," he said. "Your mom is making lunch. She says you are going on a picnic."
"Wait, did you talk to my mom?" I asked confused.
"Yeah," he replied. "I told her I was a friend of yours, and she said I could come to your room and wait for you to wake up. She also invited me to the picnic."
"Does that mean you did not sleep here?" I asked puzzled.
"No. It actually means I woke up early, went for a walk, and knocked on your door as if I were a normal person," he explained.
"But I don't want you to go the picnic," I said. "Genevieve will be there, and you have a huge crush on her!"
"So what?" he asked. "That does not change the fact that you will probably need my help. I know everything about her."
"No offense Peter," I said. "But I don't really need your help. Things worked great yesterday!"
"You do need my help."
"No, I do not. Now, please turn around, I got to get dressed."
He scoffed. "As if I hand't seen your naked body before. I'm an angel. I know exactly how you look under those pajamas."
I scowled and threw a pillow at him. "You perv! Are you saying you know how everyone looks like when they are naked?"
"No," he said blushing.
"Perv!" I repeated.
He just rolled his eyes and turned around. "Are you happy now?"
"Yes," I replied. "Very happy actually."

Peter and I were now at Genevieve's house. We walked there so that we could pick her up and take her to the park where the picnic was going to take place. My mom said it was okay as long as we took care. I sighed and knocked on Genevieve's door. Peter smiled and patted me on the back.
"You are doing a wonderful work at making her happy," he said. "Please do not make her cry. It would hurt me a lot."
I could see the pain on his eyes. He was in love with someone that did not even know he existed two days ago. I could not believe he actually loved her that much. Genevieve was wonderful, and all that stuff. But it was hard for me to believe that she could actually make someone fall for her that easily.
"I won't," I told him.
He smiled. "Thanks."
The wooden door suddenly opened, revealing Genevieve. Her hair was combed, and she was wearing a beautiful, orange dress. I smiled as I saw her, and I saw Peter staring at her with his eyes wide open. He examined Genevieve's face, and smirked. He obviously loved her a lot.
"Hello," said Genevieve shyly.
"H-hi," Peter said while grinning like an idiot.
"Hey," I muttered. "Shall we go?"
