Harry POV'
My leg jumped in place while I waited. Chloe sat next to me in an uncomfortable plastic chair. I wanted to be anywhere but here. The room was cold and plane. It made me want to be sick.
Chloe turned her head and smiled at me. "She wont tell you anything you don't know. You shouldn't worry." She was right. I wasn't crazy after all. I knew what was happening with me.
My name was called in the intercom and I got up with Chloe, walking to the Doctors office. We walked in and I took a seat, used to what happened when I came. The Doctor smiled at me. "Good morning Harry. How are you doing?" He asked. I shrugged. "Alright. How about yourself?"
"Good. Let's change your bandage." I was annoyed that I still had a bandage on my head because of the bullet going in. At least I only had a few weeks left with it.
The doctor took off my bandage and started cleaning my wound. He then put on a new one.
"How has the lost of memory been?" He asked, sitting across from me. "It's fine." I answered. Chloe rolled her eyes. "It's been more frequent."
He nodded. "I want to tell you that it will get better, but it won't Harry. You understand why, right?" I looked down. I understood. I knew that it was just something I had to live with. I didn't really mind it. I was just glad I survived. I was also glad that Jaiden didn't have to live like I did now.
"You two still live together?" He asked. I looked up with a smile. "I'm moving in with Chloe, Louis and Niall in a house of their own."
He raised an eyebrow at me. "What about that girlfriend of yours?"
It wasn't something I had thought of. Living with Jaiden had never actually crossed my mind before. Now that it did, I couldn't help but wonder how it would be to live with her. Just the two of us in an apartment together.
She would be the one that would have to take care of me. She would need to get a car to drive me places, help me when I forget, do everything. I didn't want that. I wanted Jaiden to be free.
At least if I moved in with Chloe, she would still get help from Niall and Louis. She wouldn't be doing it all alone. Also, I was more comfortable with Chloe helping me for some reason.
The Doctor noticed that I wasn't answering and let out a sigh. He didn't question it any further. "Now, could you wait outside while I talk with Chloe?" I nodded and walked out. I walked out of the hospital completely and sat outside on a bench.
I played with my fingers while I waited for Chloe to come out. Louis was going to pick us up and drive us back home. We had classes but I hated going to school after seeing the doctor.
Chloe walked and sat next to me. "Louis' on his way." I stayed quiet and watched people come in and out. Louis soon arrived and I got in the back while Chloe sat in the passenger seat. Louis smiled at me. "Boring?" He asked. I leaned my head on the window and looked out. "Always." I answered.
Chloe and Louis chatted while we drove back. I fell in deep thought, not having anything else to do.
I wondered if Jaiden even wanted to move in together. She probably didn't. I mean, she witnessed me forgetting that I needed to use the bathroom. If she moved in with friends or something, her life would be way easier.
I blinked, looking around. I was in a car with Chloe and Louis. I had no idea how I had gotten here. The last thing I remembered was the Doctor asking me to let him talk alone with Chloe. Everything after that was a blank.
I sat up straight, and cleared my throat as I tried to remember how I got here. It was just blank and I couldn't remember anything.
Chloe noticed and turned in her seat to smile at me. "We went out to wait for Louis on a bench. He picked us up a few minutes ago and we're going home now." I nodded, sitting back. I was thankful for Chloe. She always knew what was happening to me and knew how to help.
That's another reason I couldn't move in with Jaiden. She wouldn't know what to do in certain situations. Everything would just go downhill.
The car finally stopped at the house and I got out, walking quickly to the front door. I walked in and went to the kitchen right away. Chloe's dad smiled at me. "How was it? Anything new?" He asked. I sat at the island and shrugged. "My memory lost is getting worse. That's all I know. He talked to Chloe in private so she probably knows more then me."
He put a plate of spaghetti in front of me, nodding. "I see. You don't have to worry too much. We'll always be here son. You can stay here for years and I wouldn't mind."
"Thanks." I smiled. I started eating and he sat across from me, doing the same. Louis and Chloe walked in, taking a seat.
Once I was done, I excused myself and went up to my room. I let myself fall on the bed, already fed up with my day.
I knew I would keep forgetting things for the rest of my life. It was going to be hard for me and the people around me. I wasn't sure if Jaiden was ready for all of this.
