5: Diamond

Victor being Victor had given me a job. Stealing a diamond necklace from a museum. I was told it was worth millions. Yesterday I got my hair cut. It was a little shorter. I just can't braid it as much. I put on new mask and stared at myself in the mirror. Vic gave me a few new improvements to my suit. New weapons and more better material. I have hidden weapons. One on my bracelet which is a taser. I have one in the heel of my boot which is a knife. And I have two katana blades strapped on my back in an X shape. I looked more intimidating. Well in Victor's eyes I did. I also did my hair differently since we cut it. I have it off to one side and it's spiky. Alison liked the new improvements. She had the idea with the taser bracelet.
"Remember I will tell you through your ear piece, if anyone is around the corner or near that area" Victor said.
"Yeah I know the deal. Oh and why haven't you asked out Stacy yet?" I asked getting ready to jump off the roof.
"She's not my type" Victor said with a smirk.
"Well you should rethink that because I think she's into you" I said before jumping off the building and landing on the roof of the museum. Over the past week and a half I have discovered some new abilities. I can freeze stuff! It is so cool! I can also change my appearance. I took the knife from my boot and cut a hole in the window. I climbed through and jumped down in front of the exhibit. Right in front of me sat a beautiful diamond necklace. I shouldn't help but smile under my mask. I cut right through the glass and took out the beautiful prize.
"Stop gazing at it and get back here. The alarms-" Vic was cut off by the alarms going off. I slid the necklace into my pocket.
"Please tell me the Fantastic Freak Show and the Avengers aren't here yet!" I said.
"A few SHIELD agents. Show them what you got" he said. A few SHIELD agents came around the corner. I created ice shards in my palm and threw them into the agent's neck. I then teleported back to the roof right behind Victor.
"I got your precious diamond" I said scaring him. We walked back inside the building and I took off my mask.
"Let me see the prize" he said and I took the necklace from my pocket and held it in front of him, "amazing."
"We share the profit" I said smiling.
"Deal" he said gently taking the necklace from me.
"I'm going to go take a shower" I said walking away. I entered the large bathroom and unzipped my catsuit. I took off my taser bracelet and laid it on the counter. I turned on the shower and stepped in. The cold water felt good against my skin. I hummed softly to a song that was suck in my head.

I was interrupted by a knock on the door while I was washing my hair. I rinsed the soap out of my hair and quickly stepped out and wrapped a towel around me. I opened the door at locked eyes with Vic.
"You have a visitor" he said. I nodded to him and closed the door. I changed into sweatpants and a sweater before exiting the bathroom. I locked eyes with Adam.
"Hey" I said.
"Jade can I talk to you. I have a gift for you in the car" Adam said.
"Okay. Lead the way" I said sliding my bracelet taser on.
"Okay" he said as I followed him to the elevator.
"No Avengers? No SHIELD? No Fantastic Freak Show?" I asked.
"Just me and you" he said as we entered the parking garage. He ran over to his car and opened the trunk.
"Can you help me?" He asked trying to lift something out. I walked over and noticed the trunk was empty. Adam picked me up and put me in the trunk.
"You jerk" I said trying to hit him.
"Hail Hydra" he said before shutting the trunk and leaving me in complete darkness.
