16: Allies

I was basically begging Steve to take me with him on his morning run. I needed to be outside! Steve still was worried that I'd make a run for it. Why would I run from a place where I'm safe from my sociopathic father? This morning, Alison had woken up and went to the kitchen to eat breakfast. Surprisingly, Johnny made breakfast. What kind of happy pills did he take? Should I be worried? I ate a poptart and cereal with a bottle of water. Steve came out of his room wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt. Christmas was coming up. I ran over to Steve with a idiot smile on my face.
"Can I go with you?" I asked.
"No" he said walking to the fridge getting a bottle of water.
"Please! I need air!" I whined.
"Open a window" Steve said closing the fridge.
"Please! If I make a run for it I'll give you five dollars or you can train me for 4 hours instead of 2" I said smiling widely.
"She won't bug you until you say yes" Alison mumbled making Johnny and Clint chuckle. I turned towards Steve and smiled.
"Fine. Get ready. If you are not back her in 10 minutes I'm leaving with out you!" Steve said as I ran to my room.
"Sir, yes, Sir!" I yelled as I shut my door and grabbed sweatpants and a sweatshirt. Uncle Thor's sweatshirt. I grabbed my sneakers and put them quickly before running out into the kitchen with a smile. I started putting up my hair up into a ponytail.
"I think I'll come too. But I'm already ready" Johnny said as he pulled me into a small hug. I was trying so hard to get use to him. It's clearly impossible to get use to Flame Brain! The three of us walked into the elevator.
"WHY DO YOU TWO LOOK SO MUCH ALIKE?!" I asked staring at the two.
"Who knows? Maybe we're twins separated at birth" Johnny said with a chuckle.
"That would be awful" Steve said making me laugh. Once the doors opened I was off like a rocket. I couldn't wait to get outside. Plus if I remember correctly an old friend of mine loves Central Park. I was way ahead of Steve and Johnny. But Steve didn't mind that I was ahead. I guess since my mom worked for SHIELD, he trust that I won't run away. I wouldn't run away anyway. This place is safe. I made it into Central Park and I saw a certain girl sitting on a bench. I've known her for a long while. I crept up slowly behind her.
"ARIANNA!" I yelled making her flinch at my voice. She turned to glare at me. Meet Arianna Gonzalez, me and her are complete opposites. She controls fire and I control ice. She is also known as Prodigy. She was wearing a white sweater, dark jeans, black boots, and a black beanie hat.
"JADE!" Arianna said with excitement as she pulled me into a hug. I couldn't help but smile, "I haven't seen you since Germany."
"Yeah, let's not bring that up" I said smiling. About 1 year ago me and Arianna teamed up for a mission. I was afraid that SHIELD would find her since they've been on her butt after the fire. Well let's just say that an assassin from Hydra called The Winter Soldier crashed our party and now I have a scar on my side from where his knife cut me.
"How have you been?" Arianna asked smiling.
"Fine, I guess. But let's just say I'm under house arrest by the Avengers" I said.
"W-what?! How?!" She asked.
"Wwweeellllll..." I trailed off.
"Jade" Arianna said in a warning tone.
"Fine! I got myself caught and now I'm here. And guess who my dad is?" I asked.
"You found out who your dad is?!" She asked.
"Yeah. But I hate his guts! Remember that guy who attempted to take over New York" I said and she nodded, "Loki is my dad."
"It makes sense. You two have the same abilities" She said as I looked around to see where Johnny and Steve were.
"So how have you been?" I asked.
"I'm fine" she said.
"Has SHIELD found you yet?" I asked.
"Nope. I just need a place to hide" she said.
"Use my old apartment. I bet the bed is still there" I said smiling.
"How's Razor?" She asked.
"Uh well.... Razor.... Died" I said sadly.
"Oh. I'm sorry" she said.
"It's fine. It wasn't your fault" I said as I heard a certain hothead panting behind me. He placed his hand on my shoulder and took a few breaths. He took one look at Arianna and smiled.
"Hi there. I'm Johnny Storm" He said reaching out to shake her hand. She stared at his hand with her eyebrow raised as if saying you expect me to shake that?
"Are you two?" Arianna asked making Johnny smile.
"No we are n-"
"Yes we are" he said pulling me into a hug. He smells like sweat. I elbowed Johnny in the side and he held his side in pain.
"You two are cute" Arianna said jokingly.
"Shut up" I said laughing as I playfully punched her shoulder.
"Who are you?" asked a certain super soldier as he made his way toward us.
"I-I'm A-Arianna" Arianna said. SHIELD didn't know her real identity. I always secretly check her file to see what they have about her. So far, only her powers.
"You and Jade know each other?" Steve asked.
"She's my best friend" I said pulling her into a hug.
"Okay. Uh Jade I got a text from Tony saying there is someone at the tower named Emma Blood. Do you know her?" Steve asked. My face lit up with excitement.
"EMMA!" I said happily.
"I guess she knows her" Johnny said smiling.
"It was awesome seeing you Arianna! Maybe we could meet up sometime. Get some Shawarma!" I said excitedly.
"Why Shawarma?!" Arianna asked.
"Any other ideas?" I asked.
"Pizza! Duh!" She said smiling. I hugged her again before saying bye and taking off like a lightening bolt towards the Tower. There stood Emma with her back turned to me. I ran as fast as I could and jumped onto her back making her yell something I didn't catch. Meet my other best friend, Emma Blood or also known as Huntress. Emma is 20 years old and here's a little fun fact: she's known me ever since I was 6. She helped me train when I was little. Emma has dark magic and she is also a master assassin. But she was trained or tortured in the Red Room and then she was brought to Hydra where they experimented on her blood and got her powers. She escaped Hydra and SHIELD brought her in. There are two things I pick on her about: her hatred towards the color pink and how she has a crush on Thor. She has no idea he's my Uncle.
"EMMY!" I said happily hugging her.
"What did I say about that nickname?" She growled making me laugh.
"To never call you that but you see I don't follow rules" I said smiling.
"I knew one day SHIELD would find you" She said as I crossed my arms over my chest.
"Hello hot stuff" Johnny said wrapped an arm around Emma's shoulders. She glared at him and he quickly removed his arm. Steve opened the door and we walked inside.
"So what happened to the Raven?" Emma asked.
"She got caged" I said shoving my hands into my pockets.
"Well at least I don't have to hide your secret from SHIELD anymore" Emma said as we entered the elevator.
"Yeah. Oh and guess what" I said.
"What?" She asked.
"Adam was part of Hydra" I said, she looked at me in shock as the doors closed.
"You're kidding!" She said.
"I'm not" I said.
"I'm gonna kill him!" She yelled making Johnny and Steve flinch.
"You can question him" Steve said smiling. Did Steve like Emma? Emma has this unhealthy crush on my Uncle.
"Oh and guess what else" I said.
"What?" She asked.
"Thor is my Uncle" I said as her jaw dropped.
"That makes you Loki's daughter?" She asked and I nodded.
"You got a crush on my Uncle!" I sang and she growled at me.
"Shut it" she said as the doors opened.
"EMMA!" Alison screamed with excitement. Emma ran out of the elevator and picked up Alison.
"Oh Emma! I got something for you!" I said rushing to my room and grabbing a box I've wanted to give Emma for a while. I ran back into the room and handed her the box.
"I swear if it's something Pink!" She said as she opened it and found a pink bracelet.
"It's pink!" I said happily.
"If we were in the training room I would so hurt you" she said making me laugh.
"No you wouldn't" I said laughing.
"Who is this fair maiden?" a booming voice asked as me and Emma looked up to see my Uncle Thor with a goofy smile stretched across his features.
"Uh hi" Emma said nervously as her cheeks turned a bright shade of red. She's blushing.
"Emma?" asked Natasha.
"NAT!" Emma said hugging Natasha. They were friends since the Red Room. Natasha and Emma were both trained there.
"We need to have a girls day out" Nat said smiling.
"YES!" Emma said, "but no pink."
"Of course" Natasha said as I couldn't help but smile.
"JADE! Get your but down here please" Tony said through a speakers making me jump and growl at the speakers.
"I'll be back" I said heading to the elevator. I pushed the button for the lab and the elevator started moving. When I got to the lab I saw a girl sitting there in the lab with Tony. When I got closer I realized who it was. What's with me finding all of my friends today?!
"THEA!" I said running toward her with open arms. Meet the one and only Thea Smith or also known as Shadow. Thea is my age and I've known her ever since I ran into her in the streets. Her powers are telepathy, warps the darkness, and she's good at hand-to-hand combat. Her father is who she got her powers from and he use to train her. Sadly, he would hit her every time she did something wrong. She has a lot of scars from him hitting her. She ran away at age 10 and she lives on the streets. She had a friend who worked for Hydra who she trusted but then he brought her into Hydra to be experimented on. SHIELD rescued her. She is a very strong person. I hugged her tightly.
"I haven't seen you in forever!" I said smiling widely.
"I know right" she said.
"Hey, Tony is there an extra room she can stay in?" I asked smiling.
"You should invite Arianna!" Thea said.
"YES!" I said, "Emma is already here."
"Awesome!" Thea said.
"I don't have an extra room but you guys could spend the night in Jade's room" Tony said.
"Sleep over!" Thea said excitedly.
"Oh yeah!" I said happily.
Moments later me, Alison, Arianna, Emma, Thea and Natasha were in my room. We agreed that tomorrow we'd go out. Just us girls. I started picking on Emma by shipping her and Thor together.
"Thoma!" I said, "or Emor."
"Shut up!" Emma said hitting me with a pillow making Alison laugh.
"I total ship you and Johnny" Arianna said smiling as she ate a spoonful of chocolate ice cream, "Raven Torch!"
"I was thinking Steve and Jade" Thea said.
"WHAT?!" I asked making them laugh.
"I'm more of the Johnny and Jade shipper" Natasha said making me face palm.
"I bet $10 that he'll kiss you in a week" Emma said.
"I bet $20 that he'll kiss her in two days" Natasha said.
"My money is on Cap!" Thea said.
"He's old enough to be my grandpa!" I said.
"Yeah in the body of a handsome gentleman" Arianna pointed out.
"I can't believe I'm saying that I am a Jade and Johnny shipper" Alison said.
"This is why I don't like talking about boys with you guys" I said.
"Admit it: you love us" Emma said hugging me.
"Sure" I said smiling. I love my best friends.

So in other chapters I'll have one character in one chapter and then another in the other chapter! But in the next chapter they'll be all together. And who do you ship in this story? Are you a Johnny and Jade shipper? Steve and Jade? EMMA AND THOR?! Comment who you ship! I actually ship Johnny and Jade. I'm sorry if you ship Steve and Jade.
