Maria
From the moment Maria woke up she was buzzing with excitement for the text about cake from Anna. They'd decided she'd bring over some junk food and they'd watch a TV show that they found out they both liked. She fidgeted around on the couch, bored, she had work she could do but she was too distracted.

It had been a long time since Maria had spent time with someone else in platonic company. She hoped she could make friends with Anna, she seemed nice and the cake baking skills was certainly a bonus. She'd been pleasantly surprised to learn they shared common interests and was excited to discuss them.

At around two she finally received the text she'd been waiting for from the minute she'd woken up.
'Ready for some cake baking? Anna.' She immediately jumped up from the couch and got ready to leave.

When she arrived at Anna's house with a bag full of chips and other miscellaneous unhealthy foods, Anna was wearing an apron, apparently ready to cook. They greeted each other and went straight to the kitchen, ingredients were laid out across the counter.

"Looks like we'll be cooking up a storm." Maria grinned, Anna laughed and they got down to business.

Anna
With the cake baking in the oven, the two women sat down in the living room with their monstrous amount of junk food and dug in while watching their favourite show. It was a series following two men who hunted supernatural beings and made sarcastic jokes in the process.

Anna particularly liked the younger brother and Maria was a big fan of the older, who had a nice car. They sat laughing at the antics of the two, stuffing their faces. Anna decided this was the time to strike.
"Hey you know who the older brother reminds me of?" She said.

Maria turned to look at her curiously.
"Who?"
"Dean Winchester." Anna replied as casually as she could. A small smile quirked at the corners of her mouth.

"I gotta agree, they're both cocky womanisers." She chuckled. 'Jheeze, harsh.' Anna thought.
"Dean's a womaniser?" She asked. Maria let out a little sigh.
"Well, not really. It's a little more complicated than that I guess." She elaborated. "I guess I could get in trouble, if I tell you." Anna shook her head.

"Don't be mad, but Sam told me. He and I went on a date last night so I'm not better." She admitted. Maria paused for a moment, mouth hanging open in shock, then spoke.
"Well that's embarrassing." She said. "Though I'm glad you guys are dating, it was obvious from the first trial that you two liked each other." Maria giggled.

"And the same can be said for you and Dean, the tension was so blatant it was painful." Anna said, Maria laughed.
"We had no idea we'd be against each other the morning after we almost slept together." Maria rolled her eyes.
"Almost?" Anna asked.
"Don't even ask." The other woman groaned.

"Don't you think you should at least give Dean a chance to explain? Because from what I heard from Sam he didn't mean what he said and only said it because Sam didn't give him much of a choice." Anna watched Maria's reaction to what she was saying, she looked like she was thinking hard about something.

"I don't know... I mean I doubt he even cares whether I call him or not now." She sounded sad.
"That's not true, Sam said he's been moping like a child." Anna said. Maria perked up a little, her mouth twitching upwards momentarily. "What matters is if you like him, if you do then I don't understand why you're stopping yourself."

"You know, you're right Anna. I do like him, I like him a freaking lot."
"Text him then you idiot!"
