Sam
It truly was a week of new experiences, it was 7am and Sam was standing with his back against the wall on the left hand side of the door to Gordon Walker's apartment with a gun. To his right stood Dean, listening intently at the door. Seconds that felt like minutes passed, then Dean signalled that they go in.

Sam crouched in front of the door and picked at the lock, until he heard a click. He twisted the handle slowly, and then swung the door open, maintaining silence. The brothers were on high alert. Dean indicted he'd search the left half of the apartment and they went in opposite directions.

Meticulously searching the apartment in silence, they came to the realisation that there was no one here apart from a few cockroaches that Gordon would really need to take care of. That's if he didn't get thrown in jail first. They congregated in the living room, standing in the middle and peering around at it.

"You know what I'm thinking?" Dean said.
"What?" Sam replied.
"Minus the critters, this place looks like a show home. This ain't a psycho's bachelor pad." Sam realised he was right. It was a little too tidy for someone to be living there fill time.

"Secondary location?" Sam suggested, Dean nodded, a far away look on his face.
"That could be anywhere!"
"I know." His brother said in a small voice. And then came the mask of jokes.

"But seriously, did we really think he was gonna take her here? It's like hiding an elephant in a field." Sam was fairly certain that wasn't a real saying.
"Let's go back, we can ask Ash to find out if he has any other properties."

Maria
It was bright and sunny. She could hardly feel the cold that should have been biting her, his entire being seemed to radiate heat. Everything was moving fast, they were walking together hand in hand but the road was so short. Why did they pick this one again? They should have picked a longer one, why couldn't they switch routes?

The foreboding feeling of an end on its way overwhelmed her. They hadn't had enough time. Was she being selfish? Or were these feelings natural? Suddenly the sun was too bright and the wind began to slice her cheeks, she held on to his hand tighter but she wasn't strong enough. He was slipping away from her and she couldn't stand it.

The cold and the light were unbearable, why was it so bright?

"Wake up." Maria was jolted from her dream by the sensation of freezing cold water being thrown over her.
"What the hell?!" She screeched. Gordon was pointing the torch directly into her eyes. Her jaw ached, as did the side of her head which was throbbing furiously.

"You were out for quite a while, thought you might have gone into a coma."
"And you couldn't have checked by shouting until I woke up?!" She yelled. She saw Gordon shrug.
"This was more entertaining."

Maria's teeth began to chatter uncontrollably.
"G-g-go to h-hell." Gordon laughed mockingly.
"You're still not gonna beg for freedom?"
"I d-don't b-b-beg for an-nything." She stuttered angrily.

Gordon shrugged again, then switched off the torch with a click.
"We'll see."
