Anna
It was early in the morning as the three impromptu detectives sat in the living room, they looked less than triumphant, but still determined.
"So we're thinking secondary location." Sam announced. "Call-"

"Call Ash. Way ahead of you." Anna chuckled. Sam smiled fondly and disappeared into the kitchen. By the time he'd returned, Ash had answered. Sam handed her a mug of coffee.
"Thought you might want some." He murmured.

"You thought right." Anna sighed, taking a sip. It was heavenly, he'd made it just how she liked it. She realised Ash had been watching, his eyebrows raised.
"Is there somethin' goin' on between ya'll?" He asked. Anna simply stared into her mug as Sam stumbled over an explanation, that ended with a firm 'yes'.

Despite everything happening, she couldn't help but feel happy about at least that. She glanced over at Dean who was leaning against the arm of the couch, a dejected expression hanging from his tired features. She was sure he hadn't slept since Maria had gone.

She tried to focus on Ash who was asking questions for criteria for the search he was doing on potential properties.
"I can't find nothin' under Walker." He said, shaking his head.
"It could be under a fake name?" She suggested.

Sam's face brightened but slackened just as quickly.
"True... But how would we know what name?" He exhaled. Dean interjected.
"Ash, what were the names on the accounts Gordon had for the illegitimate money?" He said, moving down to the coffee table with Anna and Sam.

"So the other Winchester does got a brain inside that purty head." Ash sniggered, tapping away at his keyboard.

Dean
Within half an hour, Ash had found the address of a rented basement supposedly for storage.
"Well if that don't scream victim location I don't know what does." The intelligent hillbilly had said.
"Should we tell the police?" Anna said.

"Probably not the best idea. If we tell them one thing we have to tell them everything." Sam sighed. "And then their relationship comes up, you could be put under scrutiny and then Ash with the illegal info and it would get messy." His brother babbled.

"I got zero problems with busting in there myself and topping him." Dean muttered. Sam and Anna shot eachother worried looks.
"No, you're not busting in anywhere by yourself." Sam began, he began to protest but Sam spoke again. "You'll be busting in with me."

Anna looked offended.
"And me!" Dean watched Sam's reaction.
"Is that really a good idea?" The younger man reasoned. "For all we know he has just as much of a reason to kidnap you too."

Dean had to agree. Anna looked highly displeased.
"I can protect myself." Before Dean could vocalise the joke his brain had conjured, Anna had utilised some kind of martial arts move to make Sam fall to the floor with a loud crash.

"Try not to break through the floorboards you god damn moose." Dean sniggered, high fiving Anna. "I say she can handle it, we're safer with more people anyway." Sam brushed himself as he got up, rolling his eyes.
"Fine." He mumbled.
