~~~~CHAPTER 4~~~~
Sunday~~~~
"What the hell happened last night?" Jimmy asked as we all sat around the table in Matt's kitchen the next morning.
None of us had wanted to go back home by ourselves, so we'd all crashed at Matt's like we did most weekends. None of us had gotten much sleep either. No-one said anything and we stayed in silence.
"Zacky," Matt said, making me look at him. "What'd you see when you called out last night?"
I shook my head, refusing to remember back to what'd happened.
"Nothing. I just freaked."
"No," Jimmy said. "Something certainly had you spooked."
"Guys, leave him alone," Brian said with a bit of annoyance. "He doesn't wanna talk about it, so don't make him ok?"
"Sorry..." Jimmy said; he certainly didn't sound very sorry.
We all went silent as we heard footsteps heading our way. Matt's sister, Amy, appeared and headed into the kitchen, making us all relax a bit. She glanced over at us and came to a halt. She looked back at us.
"You're all awfully quiet this morning," she said, crossing her arms and looking around at us all. "Something happen that I don't know about?"
"Nothing's happened," Matt said, not daring to look at her.
Amy frowned and sat down at the table next to Matt.
"Matt, what's happened?" she asked, concern in her voice. "Where'd you lot disappear to last night?"
Matt tensed up and we all stayed silent.
"We were here the whole time," he said, still not looking at her. "Dunno whatcha talkin' 'bout Amy."
Amy made Matt look at her and she looked directly into his eyes.
"What've you guys seen?" she asked, letting Matt go. "Something's not right with that look in your eyes Matt. All of you guys have that look."
"We don't wanna talk 'bout it," Jimmy mumbled, looking down at the table and making Amy look at him.
Amy frowned and looked around at all of us.
"Ok, well I'm here if there's something any of you have to say," she said before going back about her business.
Once she'd gone, Jimmy looked around at us all.
"I should probably get home," he said mindlessly. "Let me know if anything happens..."
We all nodded and he stood up and walked out. Johnny looked at us.
"I should go as well..."
He got up and left the room. Matt looked to me and Brian.
"I assume you guys're gonna head off too," he said.
Brian nodded but I just stayed quiet again, still freaked out about what I'd seen last night. Brian stood up and I just mindlessly followed.
"We'll catcha at school Matt," Brian said as we walked out.
"Yep," we heard Matt call from the kitchen.
"C'mon," Brian said as we walked out. "Let's getcha home."
~~~~Matt's Point of View~~~~

Once everyone'd left, I headed out of the kitchen and down the hallway to my room. I closed the door and sat down at my desk, switching my computer on. As soon as it'd loaded, I started looking through accounts by people who were supposedly experts on hauntings.
