~~~~CHAPTER 32~~~~
Had Enough~~~~
I looked over as the door opened, Matt appearing a few seconds later with Jimmy in tow; we were only waiting on Johnny and Jessie now. Matt halted, Jimmy behind him.
"What happened?" Matt asked, seeing Brian and Steven still clearing up the kitchen.
"I'm seriously being pushed to my damn limits Matt," Brian said, still thoroughly annoyed. "As soon as Jessie and Johnny show up we're putting an end to this."
"In the dark?" Jimmy asked, crossing his arms as he moved over to where I was seated at the table. "Thought we hated dealing with the spiritual in the dark."
"Don't push me Jimmy," Brian snapped. "I've just had enough and I'm seriously done; if we don't get this cleaned up before dad gets home I'm gonna be in a fuck load of trouble."
"Alright, we'll help get this cleaned up," Matt said, indicating for Jimmy to help clean up. He looked to me. "You right to get the door when the other two show? Johnny will probably let himself in, but Jessie won't."
I nodded in return, Matt nodding; satisfied. He walked the few paces to the kitchen, getting down to help clean it all up as we waited.
"So what actually happened?" Jimmy asked.
"Heard something and came downstairs to find this," Brian sighed. "Even got one thrown at me."
Jimmy nodded as there was a knock on the door. I got up from where I was sitting; grabbing my crutches from where I'd left them against the wall. I headed out to the door, opening it and seeing Jessie on the other side.
"Hey," I said, giving her a smile as she smiled back. "Sorry about calling so late; Brian wann'ed everyone over."
Jessie just shrugged. "It's ok; I'm always available."
I smiled, giving her a quick kiss before moving aside and letting her in, closing the door once she was inside. I indicated for her to follow as I headed back to the kitchen were Matt was saying something about fixing it.
"Well what am I gonna tell dad when he gets home to find no fucking plates in the damn cupboard?" Brian snapped as I made it to the kitchen. "Where're all the fucking plates Brian? Oh, sorry dad, they just threw themselves at me and smashed on the floor! That conversation isn't gonna go down real well, is it?"
"Just calm down; we'll fix it," Matt reassured as I sat down at the table and Jessie just stood off to my side. "Just stop worrying; we'll think of something."
"Well he's not gonna be out forever y'know!" Brian exclaimed. "He could be home any damn minute Matt! I can't exactly lie to him about it, can I? You know he can always tell when I'm lying! I've never been able to tell a good lie to that man."
"Like I said, we'll think of something."
Brian sighed, stopping what he was doing and standing up. He leant against the kitchen counter, putting his head in his hands.
"I'm so fucked," he groaned as Matt got up.
"You'll be fine," Matt said, standing next to him and putting his arm around Brian's shoulders. "Just breathe Bry; go sit down for a few minutes, ok? We'll get this cleaned up man."
Brian reluctantly did as told, moving past Jimmy who was right in the way; he came over and sat down at the table next to me, putting his head on the table and just sighing. Jessie looked at him with concern, but didn't say anything as she stayed off to my side, still making sure she was close to me.
