Chapter 14: Contacting Jessie

Contacting Jessie~~~~

"So why'd you tell Amy about this?"

Matt looked to Brian who'd been the one to ask the question; knowing him, he didn't want anything to happen to Amy. They were very close and Brian cared about her more than a lot of things; she was one of his best friends and he was hers.

"We kinda had to," he said with a simple shrug as Jimmy passed me the cigarette packet. "What else were we gonna tell her? She clearly knew something was up on Wednesday when she saw him in the mirror."

Brian just gave a brief nod and looked to me as I put my lighter away, a disapproving look on his face. I just gave him a shrug as Jimmy lit one for himself and handed the packet over to Brian.

Matt gave a sigh.

"Alright guys, look," he said as Johnny shifted his position and crossed his arms as he stood there. "As bad as this is, I think Jimmy's right; we're gonna need to involve Jessie."

"You sure?" Brian asked, his tone doubtful as we all looked to him. "I mean, that's another person involved Matt; Amy knows now as well. Do we really wanna involve someone else?"

"She can probably help," Jimmy spoke up, glad Matt was going for his idea about asking Jessie for the help. "I mean, she probably knows about this kinda thing better than any of us, right?"

Matt gave a shrug and looked around at the four of us.

"Unless one of you guys know what to do, we're gonna have to find her and ask for her help."

Jimmy looked to me, a slight smile on his face and I already knew what he was about to say.

"This'll be your chance to get with her Baker," he said as I just looked at him with no amusement. "Ask her for help and then make a time to go over things; we'll make sure we volunteer you to go."

"I'm fine thanks; ghost or no ghost, I'm still not interested," was my response.

Jimmy hit me on the arm, making me glare at him.

"Just seize the damn opportunity!" he said, clearly annoyed. "She seems nice."

"Whatever."

Jimmy just rolled his eyes and looked to Matt, giving him a shrug. Matt just looked at him with no amusement and looked around at us again.

"So does anyone know how we can contact her?" he asked. "I think we should get in touch with her sooner rather than later; we need this ghost gone before it's too late."

Jimmy looked to me with a smile and I shook my head as I looked back at him.

"I don't have her number," I said, Jimmy's expression becoming unamused as he hit me again.

He looked to Matt.

"I know how we can contact her; head back to your place?"

"She friended you online?" Johnny asked as he looked over Jimmy's shoulder.

Jimmy was currently sitting at Matt's desk, typing away at the keyboard; he was messaging Jessie and Johnny clearly couldn't believe he'd already spoken to her.

Jimmy gave a shrug as he typed away.

"Zacky wouldn't, so I did."

I just ignored his comment and looked to Brian who was sitting on Matt's bed with me; Matt was elsewhere at the moment.
