~~~~CHAPTER 35~~~~
                              ~~~~~Zacky's Point of View~~~~
                              "Brian, that you?"
I followed Brian into the kitchen, the others doing the same. Brian's dad looked over as we all appeared; he looked around at all of us before settling his gaze onto Brian who made himself hold the gaze. We all knew he was a bit worried about this, and he was about to lie to his dad.
"What happened to the window?" was the first question.
Brian frowned, looking over to the kitchen window, or well, where it was supposed to be. We all followed suit, making it look like we hadn't known about it being smashed either.
"That..." Brian said, the frown still on his face as his dad crossed his arms. Brian shook his head, still looking at where the window was meant to be. "That wasn't like that when I left."
He looked back to his dad; we all watched as he looked Brian over suspiciously, clearly thinking he was lying but unable to call him out on it just yet.
"Couldn't help but notice there're no plates in the cupboard either," his dad accused, Brian just looking at him blankly.
"And how's that my fault?" he asked, a hint of a frown there again as the rest of us stayed quiet. "I haven't been home for a few hours; everything was fine and in place when I left."
His dad narrowed his eyes again as he looked at his son; Brian luckily didn't move or show any signs of lying.
"Well then where would they go?" his dad asked, leaning against the kitchen bench this time, his arms still crossed. "I somehow doubt they'd just get up and walk out."
"I don't know!" Brian exclaimed, catching everyone, including his dad off guard. No-one had expected that. "I haven't been home; maybe someone broke the window and stole them!"
"Who'd wanna steal plates?" Jimmy muttered, making Matt shake his head at him.
Brian's dad looked around at all of us, thinking as he did so. Eventually though, he looked back to Brian.
"Brian," he said, making Brian shift uncomfortably. "What happened to the window and the plates?"
"I told you; I don't know," Brian said through his teeth. "I haven't been home."
His dad looked away from Brian and to Steven.
"What about you; do you know what happened here?"
Steven shook his head, not daring to say anything; when it came down to it, Brian's dad could intimidate all of us and he always did it well. He looked back to Brian.
"Alright Brian, well how about you stop lying to me and tell me what really happened," he said, making Brian groan; he'd been found out. "Either you tell me the truth or you're not leaving this house for three months unless it's for school."
Brian sighed, putting his hands in his pockets and looking down; he hated it when he was caught lying.
"I don't know," he said, not looking up. "I just heard something and came downstairs to find the window broken and the plates smashed everywhere; I seriously have no idea what really happened."
"Look at me," his dad instructed.
Brian did as told, looking at him sadly; we all watched as his dad looked him over a few times, clearly trying to decide what to do.
"Ok, well if you say you don't know, then you don't know," he said, Brian just looking down again. "Alright Brian, you're free to go; just don't you lie to me like that next time."
Brian gave a shameful nod, indicating for us to head out to the living room. Once we were all there, Brian sighed, collapsing down into one of the chairs as Jimmy sat down on the sofa, Matt and Steven joining him. Brian indicated for me to sit down on the other chair.
"Let's hope all this shit is over for good," he said as I sat down, Jessie standing off to the side of the chair as Johnny sat on the floor. "I don't think I can handle another day of this."
"Like I said, we'll have to wait a few days to make sure," Matt said, everyone looking to him as Brian lazily switched his gaze to him.
"Brian!" we heard his dad call again, making Brian groan. "You boys had better not be sitting on those chairs; I saw all that dirt over your clothes! Don't make me tell you again!"
Brian slouched further into the chair, groaning again and making Jimmy smile.
"Alright, we should head on out then," Matt said, getting to his feet. He looked to Jessie as Johnny and Jimmy got to their feet as well. "You need a lift home?"
Jessie gave him a smile and nodded, Matt nodding back. He indicated for Jimmy and Johnny to follow him as he headed to the door.
"We'll catcha later Brian," Matt said; he gave me a brief wave before heading out with the others.
Jessie looked to me as Brian shut his eyes, staying where he was on the chair.
"I guess I'll see you at school then," she said, making me smile a bit.
"Sounds good," I said; I was staying here the night anyway.
She leant down, giving me a quick kiss before heading out to the front door before Matt decided to leave without her. Steven got up without a word, heading out of the living room; I looked to Brian.
"Well, I think I'm gonna call it quits for one day," I said, making Brian open his eyes and look at me tiredly.
He gave a nod of agreement, forcing himself to sit up in the chair.
"That sounds like a great idea," he said, running a hand down his face. "I think I'm gonna go take a shower and get some sleep. Get all this fucking dirt off me."
I just smiled in amusement, making Brian smile back tiredly.

A/N:
                              Thanks for reading :)
There's gonna be a sequel; I currently have over 100 pages of it but I won't be putting it up for a bit until I finish it...might split it into two parts so it's not ridiculously long; I might put both parts into the one book though but have them split in between. I haven't decided yet.
Either way, I hope you enjoyed it and I hope you wanna read the next one when I end up putting it out.
                              Thanks guys ^-^
