I opened my eyes with a struggle, I never realized how little strength I had after the accident. The past few days of my life re starting have been rough. My mom is babying me and my dad thinks I should wait on high school! I want to graduate with my friends and I will! I'm smart enough to be in university anyway, i could've skipped two grades when I was in my 8th year but wanted to stay with my friends, which was a desicion I never regretted might I add.

I struggled out of bed and got a terrible head rush as soon as I stood up. I grabbed my head board and sat down closing my eyes. To.Much.Stress. Tanner hasn't left my house in three days and he won't leave me alone! Whether he's bugging me or flirting with me, it pisses me off. I stood up once the room stopped spinning, grabbed a silk robe my mom got me a few days ago (with a brand new wardrobe since all of my clothes are for a fourteen year old.), a towel and walked into the bathroom my brother and I shared. The warm water burned my skin at first, but it became comforting and just washed all my stress away. Before I knew it I was singing. Like I always did in the shower.

Never mind I'll find, someone like you. I wish nothing but the best for you. Don't forget me I beg! I remember you said, sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead........

After triumphantly singing a full Adele song without running out of breath, I poked my arm out of the shower and reached for my robe that hung beside the shower. My hand hit the walls a couple of times but eventually it appeared in my hand. I did the same for my towel, with the same outcome. Now dried off and putting on my robe and tying my hair in the towel, I stepped out of the shower with a big smile on my face, today school starts.

"Nice robe." I heard someone say.

"AH!" I screamed and hit the wall. My heart was beating outside my chest and I was breathing heavily. I narrowed my eyes at the blue eyed boy that stood not two feet in front me.

Tanner.

"Ugh! Why are you in my house?" I complained and tried to get out of the bathroom.

"I stayed over." He answered.

"How did you get into the bathroom?" I mused, crossing my arms.

"I opened the door? But um- you might need to get a new lock for it...." He bit his lips and looked away.

"You picked the lock on the bathroom door, knowing I was in the shower!?" I was shouting.

"I had to pee!" He held his arms up in surrender.

"Gross." I shook my head and opened the door, entering my bedroom. Thank god that you can't see through that damn shower curtain.

"You know-" Tanner stood in the doorway of my bedroom looking at his nails. "You are a really good singer. I never heard you before."

I blushed. No one's ever complimented my singing before. "Well.... thanks." I smiled politely and then realized I was still in my robe. "Can you go now?" He nodded and left. With a sigh of relief, I shut the door and began to figure out what the hell I'm going to wear on my first day.

After about a half hour I chose to wear a pair of ripped shorts that my mom did not approve of at first, a beach cover up sweater with my bikini top underneath. Hey, it wasn't like anyone's going to see the bikini top. Well unless they pull up my shirt, and god that would be awkward.
