RING RING RING
"Let it go to voice mail." Matt whispered in my ear.
I nodded and pulled him closer to me.
RING RING RING
I pulled Matt closer, trying to ignore my annoying ring tone. Don't ruin this.... don't ruin this!
RING RING RING
"God damn it." I grumbled as I broke off from Matt and picked up my phone. "Hello?"
"Next time you want to make out with someone, close the blinds." A familiar voice said into the phone.
"What the hell, Melissa you saw?" I yelled.
"Yep." She said popping the 'p'. "Mason was taking me out and we just happened to drive down your street, and wow were you going at it with Matt."
I face palmed and groaned. "Oh my god. What did you guys do?"
"Well," I heard Mason say, "Melissa noticed first and said 'Whoa look at them go!' then I looked and said "Way to be Matt!'" He laughed. "Have fun you two."
"What Mason said." Melissa said just before hanging up.
I put my phone on the dresser and dropped my head in my hands. That was so embaressing. Scratch that, it was mortifying! You're best friend and her boyfriend actually see you making out with a guy.
"So, what exactly did Melissa see?" Matt said leaned against the wall.
"She saw us kissing through my window. I guess I should close the blinds." I mumbled the last part and went to my window to close them. I shut the window and closed the blinds then turned to Matt.
"Well that ruined the moment didn't it?" He smirked.
"Yeah I guess it did." I shrugged. Stupid, stupid Melissa. I'm going to kill her the next time I see her.
"Well let's get to the real reason I'm here." He motioned for me to sit on my bed with him.
"Um, what?" My eyes widened in shock and horror.
He laughed. "Wow, you really do spend a lot of time around Tanner don't you?"
"Well, he practically lives here- for some reason." I shrugged. "Sorry." I smiled in spite of myself.
"Don't worry. I wouldn't do that if you weren't ready." He assured me. I nodded and smiled, taking a seat beside him. He held my hand and looked at me intensely.
I heard banging on my door. "Riley! Who's in there with you?" My dad's voice boomed through my door. Horror was painted on my face, what if he was there the whole time?
"Who's that?" Matt mouthed.
"It's my dad!" I whisper/yelled.
His face mirrored my expression and he stood up in a panic. "What do we do?"
"Go back out the window!" He and I rushed over the window and I stood there anxiously as Matt tried to climb out.
"Riley! Who is in there!?" My dad yelled again.
"No one, dad!" I said. I looked at Matt, "C'mon! Move it!"
"Wait, before I go-"
"Matthew!" I used his full name.
