Marie's POV

Ranie lead me down a very long stairwell.

It was a bit dim and damp, the smell of dried leaves and old tree trunks filled the air.

The stairs were wooden. But they looked very old. They were loose and had rough edges.

Blegh... I was not used to forest scents, I was used to the wide savannah.

At the walls of the stairwell were books, lots of books, er, bookshelves.

There were also small gaps where candles lit up the stairs but as I said, it was still dim.

We were partly running down the stairs. I almost tumbled down when I missed a step but I regained balance.

Ranie was dragging me down somewhere. Whatever's down there, I should be surprised.

With a sigh, I ran after Ranie, down the very long stairwell.

It took like, a million years before we reached the bottom.

In front of us was a door that was deep brown in color with golden designs on it.

I sighed "FINALLY!"

"No, we're not there yet," Ranie said with a small smirk on her face.

I objected the fact that we were not there yet. "WHAT??? We've been running for ages! Surely we are here!"

I crossed my arms and put on a pout face.

"You'll see...," Ranie said as she opened the door with a key she took from her pocket.

She told me to go in first. I hesitated.

"Are you sure it's safe?"

"Trust me Marie, I've been down here many times."

"Really? How many then?" I said jokingly.

"Er umm..." Ranie stammered

Silence occurred between us.

"Definitely more than once," she firmly said with a grin.

"Hmph... I was expecting a definitely definite answer from your... Err... definiteness," I jokingly said.

"Well if you are definite enough, you can definitely guess where we are definitely going."

"Definitely somewhere I would definitely be."

We both laughed as we walked through a small, short, dark hallway and into another door.

Out of the dark, I could tell the door was made of metal. Ranie sighed as she unlocked it with a silver key she pulled out of her pocket.

The door opened and she first stepped inside. She grabbed my arm and dragged me into the darkest room I've been.

Then I did not feel her holding me anymore.

I felt sweat going down my chin as I looked around to find her.

Then the lights went open.

This was a place I would definitely be.

Once again, I was speechless.

The sight was amazing I could not even explain what was going on inside my mind.

It was like woah and wow and then annageksviabwbaijsbhauhausjsvsb

I could not even explain it.

It was... Well....

...

...

Incredible and interesting at the same time.
