Marie's POV
"But how are we going to bring the group back?" Ranie asked. "We don't know where they are!"
I just looked at her as if she stole something.
"What?" She asked me.
I said sarcastically. "Uh cough cough, your a fox. You have a good sense of smell. You can sniff them out!"
"Smell them? Sounds weird! I'm not doing it!" she rejected.
Isaac and I just looked at Ranie like a criminal.
She finally gave up and said "OKAY FINE! I'll do it."
"Ugh finally!" I said.
"But I don't know their scent!"
Ranie was right. But then I remembered something.
"Didn't they give us little tokens of friendship?"
"Oh yeah! I remember that!" Ranie said. "Go back to the house and get them. Your fast in running anyways Marie."
"Why me?!" I exclaimed. "And why are you bossing me around?"
Ranie whispered something to Isaac. He nodded and told me "As the prince of Fructum, I order you to go get the gifts at your house."
Ranie and Isaac laughed while I put on a pout face.
"Fine..," I said standing up and rushing out the door.
I ran and ran for Ranie house, past the people, past the fountain and into Ranie's house.
I greeted Ranie's parents and told them the prince needed us. They nodded and I went upstairs. I grabbed the three tokens from the shelf above Ranie's bed and ran back to the palace.
Past the fountain, past the people and into the castle.
I went into the throne room to see nobody there.
"RANIE? ISAAC? WHERE ARE YOU GUYS!" I shouted as my voice echoed throughout the whole castle.
Suddenly, I heard laughing, it sounded familiar.
I followed the sound which lead me to Isaac's room. Lo and behold they were there. And they were... Sword fighting?
"What's going on?" I asked confused.
"TAKE THAT ISAAC! HAH! YOU MISSED!" Ranie exclaimed,
"Oh really? Then TAKE THAT!" Isaac said as he swung his sword at Ranie.
Ranie quickly dodged Isaac's attack.
"GUYS!" I yelled.
They both stopped fighting.
"Uh... Hi Marie! Did you get the stuff?" Ranie asked me.
"Yes. I got them already. Why are you sword fighting?"
"For fun!" Isaac said with a playful smile.
Ranie approached me. Her golden sword Isaac gave her glimmered with the magic of fire, which is her element.
She handed me my sword. Wait, how did she get it?
"How did you... Wait whaaaa...?" I was confused.
"Isaac gave us new swords," Ranie explained "but it's with better durability and power!"
Now I understand how.
I took the sword from her and saw sparks on the blade, just like my old one. I swung it in the air, swoosh, swoosh!
"Thanks Isaac!" I said happily.
"Ah, no problem!" He said with a smile.
"Come on!" Ranie said. "Let's go find the others!"
All of us went outside the palace and stood before the drawbridge.
"I'll be back in a minute! I forgot something!" Isaac said as he went somewhere.
"SMELL! SMELL!" I screamed at Ranie playfully.
"Okay okay OKAY! CHILL!" Ranie said as she sniffed a gift.
It was from Leonora.
"I got her scent, LETS GO!" Ranie exclaimed as she lead the way.
It sounds weird for a human to get a persons scent but, we're partly animals so... Yeah.
"Ranie, WAIT!" A voice said.
It was Isaac. He was holding three ropes from the reins of three horses, but they were all different.
One was brown with a blond mane and tail, one was black with white spots, mane and tail and the last one was white. But all of them were fast and had shimmering diamond horse armour.
Ranie stopped and turned around to see the majestic horses.
"Thanks Isaac! Your a blessing," Ranie said.
I got on the white horse and tried galloping around. Wow! This horse was really fast!
Ranie picked the black one and had the same reaction as me, but to Isaac, a fast horse was normal to him.
"Come on! Let's go!" Isaac shouted as he let Ranie go first.
Then all of us trotted out of the castle and followed Ranie to the forest.
