Last Chapter

This fanfiction has been dragged out for way to long now, I'm sorry.
This is the last chapter but I hope you guys enjoyed it and writing it was such a blast. Seeing all the views/comments I got made me fill with joy so thank you for reading and I hope this last chapter is satisfying.

Everyone cheered as the group approached the guild.
"I need a drink" Lucy said as she felt her head throb.
"One water coming right up!" Mira poured a glass of ice cold water and slid it over to Lucy.
"Mira do we have any-"
Erza was interrupted when Mira brought out a plate of Strawberry cake.
"This?"
Erza smiled and grabbed a fork.
Wendy ran up to Levy and hugged her waist.
"Are you okay? Does your shoulder hurt?" She asked as Levy ruffled her hair.
"My shoulder is fine, just a little sore"
Wendy nodded and scurried off.

"Let's throw a party for the returning fairies!" Cana held up her barrel of beer as everyone cheered.
Gray chuckled at everyone's amusement.
"Cana, you just need an excuse to drink more than usual"
"Shut it Gray, don't you have something better to do, like Juvia"
Gray blushed as Juvia almost fainted.

Gajeel grabbed Gray by his shirt and pulled him up to his face.
"Oi Ice bastard, don't go gettin' Juvia pregnant or I'll ruin that face of yours"
"Gajeel is like Juvia's older brother, so protective" Mira said as she laid her head on the palm of her hand.

"Why are you idiots fighting without me!" Natsu yelled as he slammed his fist into Gajeel's jaw.
"Why you little-"
"Wait, where's Lucy?" Wendy asked making Natsu stop.
"I thought she was with Natsu" Jellal added which made Natsu raise an eyebrow.
"Natsu, go find her" Mira ordered as he nodded and ran out.

NATSU'S POV

'Where is she' he thought.
A powerful gust of wind blew making a familiar scent appear.
He's always loved Lucy's scent, it comforted him when he was feeling down and always put him in a good mood because it meant she was nearby.
He ran towards her scent and found her sitting next to the two graves that he built for her mother and Marissa.
"Yo Luce"
Lucy turned around and got up, brushing the dirt off her skirt.
"Hey, sorry I was just clearing my thoughts"
Lucy walked closer and wrapped her arms around Natsu's body.
She put her head on his chest and closed her eyes.
He wrapped his arms around her.
They released the hug and Lucy looked up at him.
"Thank you Natsu...for everything" she smiled.
"It was nothing really" he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
They looked at each other until Natsu leaned in.
"I guess you deserve an award" she chuckled and kissed him softly.
He picked her up and spun her around.
She laughed as the world seemed to slow down when she was with Natsu.
In that instant nothing mattered, she was with Natsu and that made her heart jump just thinking about it.
He stopped spinning her and put her down.
"Warn me before you do that" she flicked his forehead.
"Do what? This?" He picked her up again and put her over his shoulder.
"Natsu put me down!" She laughed and pounded his back as he ran in circles.
"The almighty dragon has kidnapped the princess!" said Natsu jokingly.
All of a sudden a tiny voice spoke out.
"I'll save you princess!"
Natsu and Lucy froze as the voice startled them.
Lucy's eyes widened as she turned her head towards the sound.
"That voice.."
Lucy was face to face with Marissa.
"M-Marissa.."
The horrible flashback of Marissa's death overcame Lucy once more.
Natsu put her down and Lucy slowly approached what seemed like Marissa but she looked transparent.
"Hi Lucy!" She said smiling.
"But how"
Lucy went to touch Marissa's cheek but her hand went straight through her.
"Are you a ghost?" She asked.
Marissa nodded.
"I couldn't go without saying goodbye "
"So this is the little girl you were talking about Luce?" Natsu said as he kneeled down next to Marissa.
"Yea, Marissa this is Nat-"
Lucy was cut off by Marissa.
"Your Prince Charming!"

"I've been wanting to meet him! I told you that you would find a prince, Lucy!" She ran around them like a playful child.
Lucy locked eyes with Natsu and smiled.
"Yea, I did"
"Don't be getting the wrong idea I'm no Prince I'm a Dragon" he crossed his arms and puffed his chest out.
"No you are a prince" Marissa argued.
"Dragon"
"Prince
"Dragon"
"Alright enough" Lucy chuckled at their childish behavior.
Marissa looked down at her hand that was slowly vanishing.
"Lucy I must go now"
Lucy's eyes started getting watery as Marissa was disappearing.
"Thank you for everything Lucy, I'll never forget you!"
"I'll never forget you too Marissa!" Lucy yelled as Marissa was almost fully gone.
Marissa smiled and looked up to the sky.
"Goodbye"
The stars in the night sky took the shape of a little girl as she fully vanished.
Lucy touched her grave and let a tear roll down her face.
She wiped her face and smiled.
"Let's go home Natsu"
He nodded and grabbed Lucy's hand.
She looked up at Natsu's face and saw his eyes getting teary.

"Natsu are you crying" Lucy giggled.
"No! I'm just frustrated that she said I wasn't a dragon!"
"It's ok, you're my little dragon"
"Don't forget it" he smiled down at her as they walked off into the night.

I really hope you guys enjoyed this fanfiction, it was really my first serious fanfiction and so it's not the best but I've learned a lot and I'll continue to make more! Thank you everyone who enjoyed it and I hope you stay tuned for more fanfics to come :)
