Chapter 22: Mira Stop!

Silence filled the room as the man's screams died down, making everyone turn their heads towards Lucy.

"Lu-chan! Are you alright? What happen?" Levy asked.

Lucy stared blankly at the tile floor below her feet.

Her hands started shaking as flashbacks of Marissa came crawling inside her head.

Minutes passed before Lucy just let out an angry scream and she pulled her hands over her face.

Tears fell from her face, for the millionth time that day.

Levy hugged her, rubbing her hands on her back for comfort.

After 10 minutes passed

Levy pulled her arms off her and placed them on her shoulders, looking her right in the face.

"We'll give you some space alright? We'll be back tomorrow ! Get better!" Levy smiled as everyone nodded.

"Thank you, everyone..really thank you" Lucy wiped her tears off her face and laid back down on her hospital bed.

Everyone gave her a warming hug, except Gajeel.

Eyes were on him which made him raise his eyebrows at the group.

"Give Lucy a hug" Mira said.

"Tsk, don't take it personally but I don't 'do hugs'.." Gajeel said crossing his arms.

"Cut the tough guy act, and get over there and hug her goodbye"

"I just told you I don-" he was cut off by Levy walking up to him.

"Please?" She held her hands together in front of her and looked up in his eyes.

"Whatever" he slowly walked over and leaned down to hug Lucy.

Gray and Natsu bursted out laughing as he awkwardly hugged her.

"Whatcha laughing at idiots"

"You" Gray snickered in between laughs.

"Just wait till we get back to the guild" Gajeel simply walked out of the room.

"Imma stay with Luce tonight" Natsu said making Mira do a small squeal.

"Staying with your girlfriend, that's cute" Gray said making Lucy blush.

"Make sure to give him a real pounding iron head!" Natsu yelled to the iron mage.

"I wish Gray-Sama would stay by me at night!" Juvia chirped, earning a blush from Gray.

Everyone said their goodbyes while Natsu stayed behind.

Once everyone was out, silence filled the room once again.

"Why didn't you go with them?" Lucy asked.

"Id be stupid for not staying when you obviously need someone here"

She smiled to herself, as a tint of red creeped on her cheeks.

"Thank you Natsu"

"No problem! Whatcha wanna do anyways" he looked around the plain hospital room looking for entertainment.

Luckily there was a T.V across from her bed.

They found a scary movie to watch, which wasn't in Lucy's interest.

The blonde moved over to the side of her bed an patted next to her.

"Come lay down, it's a better view over here"
