Chapter 8

"Juvia!?" Gray yelled as everyone searched nearby for the water mage.
Makarov pulled Mira aside from the others.
"Mira, I'll have you know I only took them out here so they could settle everything out..so I'll be leaving, I want you to look after them."
"Me? To look out for them?" She had a devilish look in her eyes as she rubbed her hands together.
"Make sure they don't destroy the whole forest too" Makarov waved goodbye to her and left to go back, making sure nobody noticed.
"Hey where's gramps?" Natsu said making Mira flinch and turn around.
"He had stuff to do back at the guild.."
"Oh, ok!" He turned around and ran back to the everyone.
She let out a sigh of relief and helped everyone look for the missing blue-haired girl.

"JUVIA!" They all called hopping she could hear them.
Hours went by, and they still haven't found her.
It was getting dark so they decided to go and search more tomorrow when it was light outside.
"Lucy! Natsu! Could you two start a fire for us?" Mira asked.
Lucy nodded and started putting the wood they brought down.
Once she was finished she looked at Natsu.
"What?"
"I'm not the one with Fire magic, light it" she responded.
He lit it and she walked away.
"Oh we should probably put up tents" Erza said as she looked the untouched tent bundles.
"Yeah, Could you and Jellal do that? Please" Mira smiled.
Jellal was putting up a tent, when he looked over and saw Erza tangled in the fabric.
He laughed and continued.
He put up most of the tents up but she was still struggling on the first one.
"Does the all-mighty Titania not know how to put up a tent?" He teased.
"S-shut up, I can do this" She picked up a pole and observed it.
He chucked and walked over to her.
"Here let me help" he walked behind her an grabbed her arms.
She stiffened up, a blush formed on her face.
He moved her arms, helping her put the tent up.
Mira stood from a distance, grinning and taking pictures.
Levy's stomach growled making everyone look at her.
"Hungry shrimp?" He laughed.
"N-no"
"Let's make s'mores !" Mira cheered as she got a box of Graham crackers, Chocolate and marshmallows.
"Break time!" Mira clapped and everyone sat by the fire.
They started roasting their marshmallows, in silence.

Levy sighed as she burnt her 5th marshmallow to the color of coal.
"Here" Gajeel took the burnt one she had and gave her his perfectly golden one.
"You sure? I mean it's burnt" she shyly said.
"I like them that way" he ate it off the stick.
"You're not going to make a s'more?" She asked as she ate her's.
"S'more? That sounds nasty" said Gajeel.
"Don't judge it until you've tried it! Roast another marshmallow" she got out crackers and chocolate.
He did what she said and once he was finished he handed it to her.
She made him the s'more, handed it to him and waited for him to eat.
"Why is it so messy" he said as his fingers got sticky.
"Just eat it"
He bit into it and chewed.
Everyone laughed at him.
"What's so funny?" He tightened his forehead making his eyebrows going in.
"You have some marshmallow on your face, hold on" Levy searched for a napkin.
"W-what are you do-" Levy placed the napkin on his face and slowly cleaned it off.
"There you go! All better"
"T-thanks" he turned his head because he was blushing.
Gray was just staring at the fire with his arms on his knees, and hands intertwined.
"Are you ok Gray?" Lucy asked.
"I'm fine"
"Are you sure?" Mira said.
"I said I'm fine, I'm going to bed" he got up, grabbed some blankets and went into a tent.
"Um Mira" Levy called out.
"Yes?"
"I just noticed there is only 5 tent and 9 of us..well 8 right now"
"Oh, that's obvious"
"Don't you dare Mira" Lucy stared at her.
"Natsu and Lucy in a tent, Gajeel and Levy, Erza and Jellal, and Gray and Juvia once she comes back!" Mira cheered at her decision.
"Why can't I go in the same tent as Levy? And Gajeel goes with Natsu" Lucy suggested.
"Now Lucy..you don't want to go against my well made decision now do you?" Mira had red eyes, as a dark aura formed around her.
Lucy just looked away, scared.
"That's what I thought" she turned back to normal, and smiled.
"Your friend can get pretty scary" Jellal whispered into Erza's ear.
"I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that" Mira said.
Jellal's eyes widened, he just continued eating his s'more.
"I'm stuffed! I think I'm going to sleep" Levy patted her stomach as she stood up.
"I'm going to sleep too" Gajeel got up and followed her inside the tent.

"I'm pretty tired too, coming Luce?" He got up and looked at her.
"No" she stayed sitting.
"Fine, but at least cover up it can get cold" he handed her a blanket.
She took it and placed it next to her, trying not to make eye contact with him.
He then walked into a tent.
"I guess that leaves us left, shall we Erza?" Jellal said holding his hand out.
She grabbed it and he helped her up.
They walked into a tent.

Mira and Lucy sat there in silence.
"Soooo, you're still mad at him?" She asked.
"He really hurt me Mira" she blurted out.
"Well he's also an idiot"
"Yeah, but I can't get the feeling that I felt when he told me he didn't want to so jobs with me anymore out of my chest, it seems like it's stuck there" Lucy tried to sit comfortably.
"I promise, things will get better it just takes time" Mira put her hand on the blonde's shoulder.
"Thank you Mira"
"No problem! I'm going to sleep, you staying out here?" She said as she was opening her tent door.
"Yeah..I just want to be left alone to think for awhile..Good night" Lucy smiled then turned back to the fire.

*After 10 minutes*

"Natsu...Natsu..what am I gonna do with you" she mumbled to herself as she got in the tent and settled herself down, by the fire mage.

It was around 3 in the morning when Gray was woken up by a sound.
He got up, stretched his arms and yawned.
He walked out and looked around cautiously.
He didn't want to wake the others so he tried to stay quiet.
Leaves cracked which made him flinch and turn around slowly.

"Gray?" A certain water mage said.
"JUVIA!" Gray ran and hugged her tightly.
"Sorry Juvia got lost" she said with disappointment in her voice.
"It's alright, you're here and that's all that matters" he kept hugging her, which made her blush enormously.
"Oh, sorry I-..I mean 'we' were all worried" He let go of her and rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
"Thanks for the concern, Juvia is really tired so Juvia would like to sleep" she said looking at the tents.
"Mira put us in the same tent I guess" he showed her to the tent and opened it for her.
He already had a bed made of blankets for her ready for when she came back.
"Thank you Gray-sa..Gray" she corrected herself and laid down.
"Hey Juvia"
"Yes?"
"How did you find us?" He asked as he laid down and turned his head so he was facing her.
"Well, Juvia saw the smoke from a fire"
"I see, well good night" he turned his body around so his back was facing her.
