Chapter 42

*Girl's POV*
~
Lucy was the first one to wake up.
"Where am I?" She groaned and sat up, examining the room around her.
She couldn't see much, figuring the room was pitch black.
Her hand touched the cold ground, making her flinch.

It wasn't long until she heard the other girls wake up.
"Where are we?" Erza asked, hoping for a response.
Juvia stood up, immediately regretting it as she hit her head on the short ceiling.
"Ow"

At the instance, the room lit up.
The blinding light came from what seems to be the doorway of the room.
They covered their eyes until the light was adjusted.

"What is this!" Erza yelled as she noticed that they were stuck in a cage.
"Requip!" she yelled but nothing happened.
Triss laughed as she placed one of her hands on the bars of the cage.
"These bars here make it so you can't use your magic, fancy right?"

"What do you want!" Levy yelled as she winched at the pain from her shoulder.
"Looks like these kitties have claws" Triss stepped away from the cage and examined them.
"Kitties!" X yelled as he clapped his hands.
"Moron.." Cole mumbled, sticking his hands in his pockets in the process.

"Let us go, I need to get back to my beloved Gray-sama!"
Triss looked at Juvia and chuckled.
"Now, that wouldn't be any fun..were using you as hostages so those idiots come straight to us in our domain..home field advantage"

"You.." Lucy clenched her fists.
"By the way, I put a bit of my poison magic on that arrow that hit your little fairy" Triss pointed to Levy as everyone turned their heads.
"I hope you enjoy her in pain because it only gets worse" she smiled and turned around, looking at Cole.
"Watch them, if they do anything stupid..do what you have to do just don't kill them"

Cole nodded and pulled a chair out to sit on.
"Why not just kill us! Aren't you gonna do that after all?" Levy yelled making Triss turn towards them again.
"Oh dear not at all, after we collect the reward for killing off Fairy Tail, we might sell you to make a pretty penny" she walked out, leaving the room silent.

All the girls turned to Cole, waiting for some response but he just sat there motionless.
A couple hours passed and Levy's shoulder has started to act up more than usual.
She started sweating and groaning.
Lucy laid her back against the hard metal bars and told Levy to lay her head on her lap.
"Get some rest Levy-chan" Lucy stroked Levy's hair, making both of them drift off into a slumber.
Juvia and Erza curled up next to them, and felt sleep overcome them.

Cole looked up and noticed them sleeping and sighed.
He stood up, and exited the room.
Moments later he came back with a giant blanket.
He used his magic to teleport it inside the cage, covering them with the soft material.
He too soon found himself drifting off to sleep.

He jolted forward as a scream pierced his ears.
"Levy!" Lucy yelled, holding her close.
"Make it stop!" The bookworm shouted as she clenched her shoulder.
"Hang it there Levy!" Erza stood up and held the bars of the cage.
"You have to do something! She's in pain!"
Triss then walked into the room, examining the situation.
She then grinned.
"Cole, transport everyone except that girl into room 7 please..X will guard that"
"Triss.."
"Cole? Are you doubting my command?" Triss came over and slapped Cole, making him fall to the ground.
"Do as you're told, and don't think I didn't see that blanket act" Triss then walked out of the room.
"Blanket?" Juvia looked around and noticed the massive blanket that covered them.

"Please..help her" Lucy begged but Cole just looked to the side and put his fingers to his temple.
"I'm sorry" he said before everyone except Levy were transported to another room.

*LUCY'S POV*
As she opened her eyes, she was in another cage with Erza and Juvia.
This room was very similar, but the big muscular man from before was sitting on the floor.
"Is he even human?" Lucy whispered as Juvia shrugged.
"He acts like a caveman"
"I am X! I am here to watch pretty ladies" he said making them shiver.
"X, can you let us go please?" Erza asked but X's face went serious.
"Triss told me not to let you guys go!" He yelled making them quiver in the cell corner.
"Bipolar much..."

*LEVY'S POV*

It felt as if someone was constantly stabbing her in the shoulder, she wished the pain would just go away.
Her body was drenched in sweat from head to toe.
Levy's body was starting to become weak, from the effect of the poison.
"G-gajeel.." She mumbled.
She was surprised when she heard a voice quickly speak out to her.
"Who is Gajeel? If I may ask?" Cole said, pulling his chair up to the cage.
"W..what?"
Levy sat up, holding her shoulder in the process.
"You kept mumbling his name while you slept" he looked down at the ground, waiting for the answer.
"Why should I tell you! You guys are trying to kill us!" Levy blurted out, crossing her arms.
"Fine, whatever I was just trying to make small talk" Cole crossed his arms and had a tint of a sadness on his face.
Levy noticed his reaction and looked down at her hands.
They were covered in blood from her wound.
"H-he's my boyfriend"
Cole looked up towards Levy.
"Oh"
"You're not like the others are you?" Levy asked.
He looked down at the ground again with his hands in his lap.
Something then came over him like a light switch just turned on,
"It doesn't matter, just shut your mouth, got it?"
"Sheesh, hit a nerve?"
