Chapter 12

They all headed out of the guild and searched for the blonde.

They finally spotted her walking up to a flower stand.

Lucy had a smile on her face, something she hadn't expressed in the last week.

"There she is" Gray said

"SHH" Mira said as they ducked behind a large bush, people gave them confusing glares but they ignored them.

Lucy approached the man selling the flowers.

"Hello young lady, how may I help you this fine evening?" The man asked.

"Id like a bouquet of tulips please" Lucy replied.

"So are these for someone special?" The man asked as he was fixing the flowers up.

"Oh maybe she'll tell him who they're for!" Natsu said.

"Stop talking I can't hear" Levy pressed her ear up against the bush.

"Yes, very special..we've shared so many memories..I wish we could make more but unfortunately I can't" Lucy had a faint smile as she looked at the ground.

"Well I hope everything gets better, Here are your tulips! Have a nice day ma'am" the man handed her the flowers as she paid for them.

She thanked him before walking away.

"Well that didn't tell us anything" Natsu sat down on the floor in defeat.

"We can't give up now!" Mira dragged everyone towards the direction Lucy went.

Next stop Lucy went to was a Dress Store.

"Dress store?" Gajeel read the sign out loud in confusion.

They stood quite a distance away but close enough to where they could see inside the window inside the shop.

As Lucy entered, a bell chime went off, after that the door slowly closed behind her.

"Welcome Miss can I help you with anything today?" said a short women that looked in her early 20's with pale skin and Brown hair, by the looks of it she worked there.

"Thank you but I'm just going to look around" Lucy smiled before exploring the shop.

"If you need anything I'll be right here!" The woman called out.

15 minutes passed and Lucy was still inside the shop.

"How long do girls take to pick a single dress" Gray was tired of waiting, by the looks of it everyone was.

"Look she's buying something!" Levy perked up, making everyone jump.

Lucy placed a yellow sun dress with black floral patterns on it onto the counter.

She purchased it and walked out.

They followed her all the way to her house, it took her 10 minutes to change and come out with the flowers in her hand.

As Lucy began to walk, she softly mumbled a melody as she walked along a path way.

"That's really relaxing" Natsu said out loud making everyone look at him.

"What" Mira spoke up.

"What?" Natsu realized what he said and his face burned up.

"What did you just say"

"What are you talking about" He hoped Mira would forget that.

"You said-"

"Look Lucy is walking away" Juvia said making Natsu sigh in relief as everyone followed.
