Chapter 5

I'm so sorry for the wait, my friend wanted me to update my other fanfic so I've been writing that one *~* here you go cx

"You did what?!" Erza pinned him against the wall with a sword up to his neck.
"I couldn't protect her! I'm always doing something wrong , it was for the best" The dragon slayer tried explaining to Erza and Gray about why he did what he did but they didn't like his decision.
"Idiot!" Gray flew his hands in the air.
"Juvia agrees, that was very stupid of you" Juvia said, standing next to Gray.
"Lucy can protect herself, who even gave you that idiotic decision!?" Erza was on the edge of exploding.
"You abandoned your nakama, didn't being in this guild teach you anything!" she kept throwing words at him which resulted to him pushing the sword away and rushing out of the guild.

"Uhm, Lucy is ok for right now, she got dizzy and fainted but her arm is fine I bandaged it" Wendy said coming out of the infirmary.
"Thank you Wendy, we appreciate it" Everyone thanked her as they went to do their daily things.
"I can't believe he did that, what an idiot" Gray was sitting across from Erza and Levy at a table.
"Yeah, Lu-chan had tears in her eyes when we found her." said Levy.
"When he comes back I'm going to kill him" Erza said with an evil aura glowing around her.
"I'll hold him down" Mira said putting drinks on the table.
"You too Mira?" Levy asked.
"This is ruining my Nalu ship!" said the takeover mage.
"Ship?" Gray asked.
"Yeah, like how I ship you and Juvia together"
"WHAT?!" He said falling over.
"And you and Jellal, even though I haven't met him yet." she said looking at Erza.
Erza blushed a million shades of Red.
"Can't forget you and Gajeel!" Mira jumped in excitement.
"What about me?" Gajeel appeared from behind her.
"Oh, just talking about how you and Levy are going to make 33 babies" she said shoving Gajeel forward.
"Mira! No!" Levy covered her face in embarrassment.
Gray cracked a laugh.
"Don't laugh Gray, I want 45 out of you" Mira said grabbing Juvia and forcing her to sit next to him.
"Sigh, but Natsu and Lucy I was hoping for about 60 babies " Mira daydreamed, they all slowly got up and left.

The next day, when Natsu arrived, some people ignored him.
"Is Happy here?" He asked Wendy.
"He was at my house with Carla last night, he should be here" she replied, Natsu thanked her and sat on a bar stool.

Lucy was doing better, so Wendy allowed her to walk outside of the infirmary.
Lucy walked out with a half smile, until her eyes met Natsu's and her smile faded.
"Lu-chan! are you feeling better?" Levy asked hugging her tightly.
"A little sore but I'm fine now" Her voice was a bit emotionless.
"Are you ok Lucy?" Juvia asked.
"I'm fine, don't worry about it thanks for caring about me guys" she hugged them and continued to walk.
She passed by Natsu on her way to Erza.

He could smell her scent as she passed by, making him stiff.
After Lucy greeted Erza, she started walking toward the entrance.
"Where are you going Lucy?" Gray asked
"Just going to go home and take a shower and maybe rest that's all" She smiled, which was obviously fake, then she walked out.
Natsu stood up and walked over to Erza.
"Don't even think about coming over here" Erza said looking away.
He sighed and sat at a table by himself.

*LUCY'S POV*
Once she got into her apartment, she took a bath and sat on her bed, in a towel.
She thought to herself for awhile until she got dressed in PJ'S then got under her covers.
It was still day time but she was so sore and tired that she was going to sleep anyways.
"Why...Natsu" she said before closing her eyes and falling asleep.

*NATSU'S POV*
By the time it was getting dark, he found Happy and they went to walk home.
At first his feet led him to Lucy's apartment, but he remembered all of what was happening so he walked away to his house.
"Natsu? Are you ok?" Happy asked, flying next to him.
"Yeah, I'm fine why?" said Natsu as he opened the door to his house.
"You haven't talked all day.. Is it about Lucy"
"I'm fine, you should get some rest" He said.
Happy agreed and went to sleep, with his body curled up in a circle.
Natsu was walking to go to sleep, when he passed his wall.

'Lucy's First Job'

There was a picture of Lucy in her maid outfit.
Natsu looked at it for awhile until he turned away and laid down next to Happy.
As he closed his eyes he mumbled to himself.

"I'm sorry..Luce"
