Chapter 15- I'm Glad You Came

- Dipper's Pov -
It was 2am when I woke Bill up. I'm really worried about him. He seems really shaken up from the nightmare he had.

"Do you mind telling me what it was about?" I sat on his bed next to him.

"It's depressing."

"I'll be fine."

"I won't."

"Bill," I said, looking into his troubled yellow eyes. "Trust me."

Bill took a deep breath. "Echo..."

"Echo?"

"She's back."

"Wait... Who's Echo?"

"She's a dragon Demon. She's my boss, you see? I made a mistake by making a deal with her." Bill's eyes filled with tears. " She... she threatened to kill you all of I didn't give her the journals..."

"And what happened?"

"I said I'd get them and you guys died anyway..." Bill faced the ground.

"Hey," I hugged him. " It was just a dream. I'm not going anywhere for a long time." I saw a tear fall from his face. "I'm 15 years old, not 100."

Bill hugged me back. "I... I thought that I lost you..."

"Well, I'm still here, am I not?" I tried to comfort him.

"I'm glad you came, Pine Tree."

I saw Bill yawn and held him close. His breathing was returning to normal.

By the time I finished, Bill had fallen alseep on me. I smiled. Sweet dreams, my dorito ~ and I closed my eyes, and held Bill close.

- THE NEXT MORNING-

I woke at and noticed that Bill wasn't there. He must of gotten up already. I walked out of my room and went into the kitchen to see Bill... cooking? Since when did he cook?

"Morning, Kido." Bill said.

" Morning, Bill." I ran up and hugged him.

"Careful!" Bill cautioned me. "The stove is on."

I let go of him. "How was your sleep, after the nightmare?"

Bill nodded. "Alright..."

I put my chin on Bill's shoulder.
"Whatcha makin'?"

"Pancakes," Bill flipped one, but it hit the roof. "At least I'm trying to. "

"Where's everyone else?"

"They when out." Bill faced me.
"It's just you and me today."

I sat down at the table. My cheek started to hurt. "Ah!"

"You okay?" Bill asked as he brought a plate of pancakes for us.

"Yeah, my cheek hurts like hell."

"Ow. Let me see." Bill looked at my face and gasped. "Oh shit..."

"What's wrong?" I asked.

" The mark on your cheek. .." Bill said nervously. " It's going green!"

"And?"

"It means you've been cursed..." Bill slamed his fist on the table. "Echo god damn it!"

"What's wrong with Echo, again?" I asked him again. I needed to know if it's bad.
