No matter how beautiful winter season is, there are big burdens that come along with it. When the snow falls too heavily at night, she has to wake up an hour earlier just to shovel the snow on the driveway away so she could drive to work on time. Also, outside would be freezing cold no matter how many layers she wear. Hot packs that she had opened doesn't even feel warm.

That day, was one of her worst day during winter season. She left her coat in the office as she hurried out because they were locking up and by the time she realised it, it was already too late. Her car couldn't start because it was too cold and she just missed the bus. She would have to wait for another 30 minutes before the next one came and she's frustrated.

Freezing cold, she stood at the bus stop, walking back and forth, hoping that it would warm up her body. When it didn't work, she gave up and sat down on the bench. Her hands clenched into a fist and she could feel how could her fingertips are. She let out a shaky breath and saw the small cloud it formed when it touched the cold air.

"Wow, it's really cold." She said to herself, wishing that the next bus will come faster. After a few minutes, a stranger walked by her and stopped.

"Hey are you okay?" He asked, looking down at me. "Oh hey yeah I'm fine." She replied, shivering a little. "You don't look fine. There's a coffee shop just a block away, do you want some coffee?" She pondered for a moment. She's freezing her ass off and would love a cup of hot beverage but they barely spoke three sentences to each other. "No thanks, I can't afford to miss this bus." "Oh alright, but take this." He said, as he draped his coat over her shoulders. "You will need it more than I do." She was stunned. "Wait!" She called out to the stranger. "How do I return this to you?" What she got was just a wave as he walked away.

Everyday, she brought the coat along with her everywhere she goes, hoping that she will  meet the guy but two weeks had passed yet, she still hasn't met him.

"Wait!!" She shouted as she chased for the bus. "The bus driver must be deaf." She grumbled as he drove the bus away. Defeated, she sat down on the bench, waiting for the next bus. As she looked at the floor while swinging her legs, a pair of sneakers that were in front of her caught her eyes as they stopped.

"Hey, was my coat thick enough that day?"
