Maybe it was fate that made them meet that day. Jin had just finished practice that day and he was supposed to go back to the dorm with the guys. After she disappeared that day, he had moved out of their house. He was going back to collect some of his things. Jin was too ashamed to call her to ask for her to go back to his side. He tried to avoid going to the places that she would most likely be at. After all, he won't know what he would do. He might just go up to her and probably kiss her for all he knew since he missed her so much. But he knew it wasn't right to trap her by his side, so he never dared to meet her or see her at all.

However, memories of both of them was still in his head. He had broken with the other girl a few days after she had left them. He thought he had loved the second girl since he believed in the quote, "If you had loved the first one deep enough, you wouldn't have fallen for the second one." Thinking back about the decision he made, he laughed at himself for being so stupid and selfish. Why didn't he realised sooner that it was just infatuation? Was the thrill of sneaking around making it more exciting to be with her? Why did he think that just by trying to be with another girl for a while would be alright? Now he has lost the one that matters.

.

It was raining while he was walking back to his old house. The bright red umbrella stood out in the crowd that was running towards shelter for cover. After a few minutes, the path he was walking on was cleared of people since they were either seeking shelter in the stores or most likely had already ran towards the carpark to go home. However, there was this one girl still walking in the rain without an umbrella. Her hoodie was already soaked through and it was obvious that she wasn't planning to get out of the rain anytime soon. Being the caring guy he was, he immediately rushed up to the girl, providing her shelter with his umbrella.

When she didn't feel the rain falling on her, she looked up to see if the rain had stopped. However, all she saw was a red umbrella covering her view of the glooming sky and she suddenly felt a presence by her side. When she turned to say thank you, her mouth turned dry.

So did his.

He had never expected to meet her at all, at least not in that situation. There was so many things he wanted to say but all he could do was to stare at her in shock. They stood in the middle of the street, staring at each other, not daring to make a move. He sharply inhaled, making it very obvious to both of them that he was very nervous. "Hi, it has been quite a while, hasn't it?"

.

"Here." He said, handing her a towel. After getting caught in the rain, he suggested that they go back to the old house to dry up. He knew he wouldn't be able to forgive himself if he let this chance go. "Thanks." She replied softly, grabbing onto the towel, started to dry her hair. Even though her heart told her to reject the offer of going back to the place that held the most valuable memories to both of them, her mind told her to be mature and to accept it. After all, both of them needed closure before they could move on completely. IF not, there will always be this nagging voice at the back of her head, telling her that she could've ended it better.

Shyly, he handed her a t-shirt of his and one of his sweatpants. When she raised her eyebrows, questioning his actions, he stuttered, saying that he didn't want her to get sick. Smiling slightly, she took the clothes and headed to the bathroom. When she closed the door, she clutched onto the clothes. Why was he being so nice and acting as if nothing had happened? What happened to the other girl and why isn't she with him? So many thoughts and questions ran through her head and many of them were left unanswered.

.

"Where, where is she?" There was it, the inevitable question. His fingers tightened around his mug of hot beverage he was drinking. Even though he had moved back to the dorm, there was still quite a few things still left in the old house including the mugs, some spare toothbrushes. Opening his mouth slightly, he only managed to mumble out,"I broke up with her."

'That was surprising, didn't he say that he loved her?' She thought to herself.

As if he could read her mind, he sighed. "I realised that she wasn't the one for me. But by then, it was too late." She looked down at her mug and smiled sadly. "Yes, it is too late." After being separated, she wasn't bitter by the fact that he cheated. Yes, it did hurt her a lot but she knew that their relationship was going to end, one way or another. Right now, she was only focusing on having closure.

"One more question, why? " Looking at her, he could only let out a dry chuckle. "I don't even know it myself. All I know is that I regret it, a lot." She placed her cup on the coffee table and place a comforting hand on top of his. "That's all I needed to hear Jin."

"I know we can't go back to the way we were or get back together but I still want you in my life. No matter what role you will be playing, an acquaintance or a lover, I want you in my life. I am not ready and I can't lose you completely, I know you know that."

"I know that Jin, I do."
