.

When he saw the same thick, cream paper, the one she used when she left him, he knew, he had lost her.

When he saw the happy couple photo on the cover, he knew, it was over.

When he saw the huge "You're invited!" written in cursive, he knew, it was the end.

.

The wedding invitation laid open on the coffee table for the rest of the boys to see. A man wrapped his arm tightly around her waist as both of them had their foreheads touching, looking into each others' eyes. They wore huge smiles on their faces. The rest of Bangtan just stared at Jin sadly, knowing that he hadn't been able to get over her. Since the last time they met in the rain, they found out that his feelings for her is still as deep and her place remained permanent in his heart.

He would be lying if he said he hadn't imagine him as the groom countless of times in his imaginations and dreams.

He would be lying if he said he hadn't thought of seeing her walking down the aisle, right up to his side.

He would be lying if he said he hasn't dreamt of them exchanging vows and rings then interlocking their lips as a physical sign of the start of their new life together.

"Do you guys have anything ongoing that day? I asked manager hyung, he said we should be on our break then. " Jin said softly. He knew he can't mask the disappointment in his voice. His eyes would betray him and his lips would tremble. The boys would see through his facade immediately.

"Do, do you really want to go? " Yoongi asks bluntly. He was still clearly very in love with her. If he went, he would break down on the spot if he couldn't control his emotions well.

"A long time ago, I promised her that I would watch her walk down the aisle in her beautiful wedding gown. Now, even if the groom isn't me, I'm still keeping my promise. I will watch her gracefully walk down the aisle and enter her new life, even if it hurts me. "

.

"I knew you guys would come. " She happily said as she got up from her seat, even when her makeup artist was whining about how her touchups weren't done. Ignoring the makeup noona, she ran up to the seven boys and hugged them one by one tightly.

They had arrived later than the other guests because they knew that if they had arrived any earlier, Jin might just have a crazy idea and tell her to leave her wedding, to go back to his side. Knowing that he can't make such a rash decision, the manager came along with them. They originally planned to just arrive late and go to their seats immediately. However, he insisted on going to the bride's room to meet her. To say his congratulations and his goodbyes.

"You guys look really good." She complimented them. They were all dressed in suits. Some had ties, others had bow ties. As usual, they all were good looking. Thanking her, they all gave her compliments as well. Blushing, she nodded as she accepted them shyly. Soon, they fell into a silence.

.

"I think Jin hyung has something to say to you. " Surprisingly everyone, Jimin said the one sentence that the others wanted to say but didn't dare to. Pushing and pulling one another, the people in the room cleared out quickly, giving both of them space.

.

"You look beautiful. " He started. His eyes met hers as he pulled her hands into his warm ones. "Jin, I'm getting married." She warned but she made no attempts to pull her hands out of his. "I know," he started as his thumbs drew patterns in her palms. "I feel that if I don't get this off my chest, I will just live in regret."

Taking in a deep breath, he prepared himself to open his heart to her.

"Many times, I've dreamt of seeing you walking down the aisle and stop by my side. We would exchange vows and live happily together. We would have our children together and gosh, they are beautiful.

I dreamt that when I saw you walk down in that white wedding gown, my breath would be taken away. Seeing you today proves it right.

Everything I dreamt of was perfect. It was just like a cliché drama ending with both of us as the main lead.

However, I only got half of it right.

The one watching you walk down the aisle to his side;

The one exchange vows with you;

The one having children and spending the rest of his life with you;

isn't me.

I've done so many things that I've regretted and letting you slip out of my hands had been my biggest regret.

I should've held onto you tighter and show my love more. I should've sent to you when I felt that we had problems, not find temporary comfort in another girl.

So many I 'should've's but I can't turn back time and change the past, can I?"

One of his hands has travelled up to her face, wiping the falling tear. As she looked back up into his eyes, he realised something. If his guess was correct, he knew he can't let this go. He can't let her go.

"I see the way you looked at him in the wedding photos in the reception. Call me crazy but I don't see love. Maybe I'm delusional or I'm wrong but if the gaze you looked at me in the past is love, you don't love him.

You do have happiness in your eyes but you don't love him. Your eyes don't sparkle. They don't hold the warmness as you look into his eyes.

However, the way I look at you, it's still the same. It has never changed.

So tell me,

do you still love me? "
