A/N: guess who is back after about two weeks of hiatus? i love you guys so much, thank you so much for the encouragements you guys have commented on my last post. I've read every single one of them and i'm so thankful you guys understood my feelings.

adding on, i actually found this story rotting in my computer. the last time i edited it was 31/01/2016 and the only person who has read the original copy is iVminTaeSOS . i did a huge edit since my writing has matured a lot since then.

it was originally optional biased, meaning that I didn't assign this scenario to a member. However as I wrote, it became more and more of a Jungkook scenario. And as I was editing it, Jungkook posted his full cover of "We Don't Talk Anymore". So, I guess it is fated.

enjoy this scenario with jungkook's cover. :)

"Hey!" she called out for Jungkook happily, making him look up from his phone. She reached out to him with an ice cream cup in her hand. "I brought you your favourite ice cream." He gave her a small smile as he reached out from the cup and accepted it. As he watched her eat the ice cream, he let out a silent sigh. He loved her, he truly did. However, he didn't like how she just assumed Jungkook liked everything they did together just before he didn't complain or reject it. She thought that he loved the same things as her but no, they were literally opposites.

Only Jungkook knew that truth.

She loves going to parks but he prefers to stay at home to rest after a long day at practice. However, it seems like she didn't understand sometimes as she would try to drag him out on days when he just wanted to rest.

He loves photography yet, sometimes, she doesn't know how to appreciate the beauty he had captured. He would show her photos that he had taken on trips and expect a praise from her. She would tell him he did a good job but that was it. He expected her to compliment him on the angles he had used and the vibrant colours he managed to capture. However, she didn't have the eye for it, no matter how hard she tried.

She loves the night sky but he loves the daylight. He never understood why she would sit near the window and look at the stars till late at night but didn't like joining him out in the sun.

To him, that was a sign of a relationship of a polar opposite couple.

They were like parallel lines, always going in the same direction, but never meeting and will never meet.

.

"Look, we need to talk." He said, before taking in a deep breath. He saw her head turn towards him to look at him curiously as he spoke. Her eyes worriedly scanned his face, trying to make out any sign of what he was about to say. She had just gotten off work hurriedly and went off to the dorms to meet Jungkook. Even though she knew she would end up extremely tired the next day since she had to travel back home and wake up early for work, every second with Jungkook was precious to her.

She would make time for him even if she didn't have any.

"There is no way to say this."

"Jungkook, what's going on?"

"We, we need to take a break."

It was his turn to scan her face. He could see the realization dawn upon her face as she registered the words into her head. As if on cue, her mouth dropped slightly, barely able to form a proper sentence.

"Wait, what, why?"

It felt as if time stopped for her. Everything was blurry in her eyes but she could still make out the figure of the man that she called hers, once called hers. Her mind flashed back to minutes ago, when the other boys left to get groceries, trying to give them some alone time. It was a normal thing, however, before they left, she noticed a look in some of their eyes that she couldn't decipher.
