His spirit roamed around for a long period of time. He had a watch but he couldn't keep track of the dates. What he felt like was months were only days when he was lonely. The only thing that could help him keep track of the dates were the seasons and the holiday celebrations. Slowly, he saw people welcoming the New Years and then all the way to unwrapping presents on Boxing Day. He envied the people, children and families that had each other as companions while he was lonely in his own world.

He found himself walking around, able to get onto planes and he flew from city to city. He could get whatever clothes he wanted. He just had to walk into a shop, touch one clothing and it would be on him instantly. However, he didn't need food or sleep so sometimes, he would just find himself daydreaming, wondering why was he stuck like that. He wasn't dead yet he wasn't alive. He was just in between and he was sick of it. What was his purpose of being like that? Why did he have to be the one that is suffering like that and not someone else? What did he do to receive such fate? However, he never figured out an answer to those questions.

"Calm down honey, don't be upset." His eyes looked up and he saw a father comforting his daughter. She was crying horribly and her eyes were swollen.

"Dad, could you just leave me alone? I need a minute to calm down."

Nodding, her father gave her a slight pat on her back and walked down a path, leaving her alone.

Namjoon wanted to go up to her father and said that it probably wasn't the best idea for her to be alone in the night, however, he can't do anything since he couldn't see him. He decided that the best thing he could do for them now is to stay by the girl's side and try to provide comfort even if she can't feel it.

Sitting down beside her on the bench, he lifted up his hand and patted her back like what her father did before.

"Dad! Didn't I tell you to -" Her eyes grew wide as she saw him. She quickly wiped the eyes falling down her face and looked down. "I'm sorry for yelling like that, I thought you were someone else."

You can see me? That's the question he wanted to ask. But seeing how upset the girl was, he didn't want to confuse her any further. "I know, I just saw you crying and thought you would need someone to talk to. I'm not trying anything though, I can go if you want." He stated quickly as he got up from the bench and took a step. Instantly, she grabbed onto his wrist.

"Stay, please."

Listening to her, he sat back down and she pulled her hands back. She placed them on her lap and started playing with her fingers. "I, I do want someone to talk to but I didn't want anyone I know to actually know about it." Giving her a comforting smile, he replied, "Don't worry, I won't tell a soul. I'm new to this town after all. I don't know anyone and haven't talked to anyone so far, except for you, of course."

Maybe it was just something in her, but she immediately trusted him. She started spilling on how she felt upset with her friendships, she felt as if she wasn't treating her friends well. She spilled on more problems as in how she would put a façade when people talked to her because it was a defensive mechanism. She can't seem to get rid of it no matter what and she had never poured her soul out so much before. She finally felt free. Her heart felt raw from the feelings spilling out but she was glad it was out.

As he promised, he sat beside her and watched her cry more and talk about her problems which he noticed had accumulated over a long, long period of time. He would nod and tell her to breathe once in awhile when she cried too hard or was o the verge of a complete meltdown. His presence was soothing to her, she had never felt so relaxed in a long time and she was glad that he was that at that time.
