"Yah, what are you doing?" Hoseok asked as his daughter started biting onto his finger as she held his hand that were huge as compared to hers. The little baby, barely 6 months old, looked at him with her wide eyes before nibbling on his finger again. It didn't hurt Hoseok but he was curious because the girl had never done this before. When he tried to pull his finger away, the girl cried and pull it back.

"Jagiya?? Jagiya!! " He shouted for her as he look at the baby girl. It was only 2am and the girl woke up crying and she started rubbing her cheeks a whole lot more. Worried and didn't know what to do, he decided to call for his spouse before he panicked and blanked out on what to do. "What happened?" She said, walking into the room and rubbing her eyes as they adjusted to the bright light of the room. "She," Hoseok said while pointing at the baby before continuing, "had been chewing on my finger the whole day and now she's crying. Her cheeks are already red from all the rubbing and she refused to eat all day! I'm worried for her Jagiya! What's going on?" As Hoseok cried out, his spouse picked up the little girl and gave her a toy for her to bite on, temporary stopping the crying.

"I guess you forgot to read the book Hoseok." She laughed as she looked at his face turn blank. He turned his head the the side table and saw the parenting book laying there, untouched. "Flip to the page with the pink tag." When he reached the page, the title stood out. "What to expect when a baby is going through teething." He read out loud. Quickly browsing through, he realised that it matched all the symptoms his daughter was showing. Sheepishly, he looked at his wife and apologized while scratching the back of his neck. "Hey, you don't have to apologize. We are parents for the very first time. We will make mistakes. " She smiled before turning back to the baby. The girl had fallen asleep and she put her back to the crib. "If there's nothing more, I will be going back to bed Hoseok, don't sleep too late alright? " She kissed her husband on the cheek before going back to bed.

When she woke up, she frowned. Hoseok side of the bed was untouched and it felt cold. She sighed. She hated it when he overworked. He would always be very tired and get irregular meal times. Worried for his health, she went into the kitchen, hoping that she had enough ingredients to make a filling dinner for him.

As she made her way to the kitchen, she passed by the nursery. Curious to why the light was turned on, she peeked in only to see her husband on the rocking chair. The parenting book was on his lap. When she looked closely, she saw a piece of paper filled with scribbles and it was a summary of different sections of the book. She smiled happily and her heart fluttered. Seeing her husband put in so much effort, it was really touching and she was glad that she had married such a good man.
