Kerri
Spencer, his sisters, and I were having so much fun! Not to mention that the dogs were full of energy and hardly wanted to take breaks. Phoebe and Charlie were licking each other and that was hilarious because of the size difference. Phoebe and Zeus were horses! They were huge! I would say that they were the biggest dogs I've ever seen but I saw a great dane before and it was gigantic!
"Zeus!" He panted as he tackled me and began licking my face. His paw was on the middle of my throat and his other front paw was on the top right part of my forehead. I laughed uncontrollably as he kept licking my face. He was pretty heavy too! I felt like I was being pushed into the ground!
"Zeus, give it a rest," Zeus's ears perked up when he heard Spencer. Spencer came to my rescue and pulled his super-sized dog off of me.
"Sorry Kerri," he helped me up by pulling on my forearm.
"Your dogs keep going on and on like the Energizer bunny," I laughed.
At one time, they went off and started play fighting with someone else's dog. The owner of the dog wasn't aware that they were only playing at first because they started flipping out. Eventually, they calmed down but Spencer and I still laughed at them. The girls have been playong an ever-lasting game of fetch with Phoebs and Charlie for an hour now.
"Wanna go for a walk?" he raised an eyebrow waiting for my response.
"Yeah, let's go," I grabbed ahold of his hand and began playing with his fingers. "Does this creep you out?"
He chuckled, "no. I don't get creeped out easily."
"That's right. You're a manly man."
"Sure am," he pinched my right thigh.
"Hey! Let's not start another pinching frenzy!"
"Big baby," he teased.
I yanked on his finger popping it.
I grimaced at the noise it made but smiled when I heard an 'Ow' come from Spencer.
"That's what you get you big baby," I stuck my tongue out at him.
"How do you call me a big baby and then go on and stick your tongue out at me?"
"It's called being awesome. You should try it sometime," I smirked and he scowled at me with a smile.
"I'm more awesomer than you!"
"Is that even a word Spencer?" the heat from his hand was heating mine up making me feel warm and tingly.
"I don't think so but if people say it enough, they'll put it in the dictionary I bet."
"Like OMG and LOL,"
"Exactly!"
"We should make words together for a living."
"That would be fun. Or we could right different definitions for current words."
"Sounds boring."
"But I really want to change the definition of beautiful to your name instead."
Inside my head, I was squealing and jumping up and down! He thinks I'm beautiful! Awesome!
"I'd make the definition of corny your name."
"I can't have a little credit for it?"
"A little but not a whole lot."
"I'm good with a little," he smirked. "It goes a long way."
"Yeah, and you need to GO away," I playfully pushed on his arm.
"I bet you won't say that to my face!"
"I just did!" I argued.
"Baby,"
On my tip toes, I stood directly in front of him, "Get away!"
He moved his face down so our noses were touching.
"Say it again," he breathed with his warm breath blowing against my lips.
I looked into his dark green eyes seeing a playful sexy glint. He placed his deliciously warm hand on my hip and my breathing hitched.
"Say it," he repeated simply. I shook my head. "I knew you wanted me close," he smirked placing his other hand on my waist. He tilted his head, ready to brush his lips against mine. I thought I was ready for it too as I was itching for his lips to be right on mine. When they were practically touching with Spencer's hands on my hips making me fuzzy and warm on the inside, I had a mini freak out
All I could see was Spencer and I married ten years from now and I panicked, quickly turning my head to the left. Gasping at my sudden change of heart, I turned my head back to see Spencer standing with his hands in his pockets looking super cool like it was no big deal.
"I'm so sorry!" I apologized.
"I get it, you're one of the I-don't-kiss-a-guy-on-the-first-date types. I understand."
I pursed my lips nodding. He had no clue. Everything was different now. I liked him. Like really liked him.
