Hey!

Kerri

My phone rang and I had the urge to kill whoever it was that was calling. Groaning, I accepted the call.

"Good morning beautiful." Never mind.

I let out a blissful sigh before closing my eyes. "Morning babe," I grinned.

"I'll be by at 7:15 to pick you up."

"Wait, you're taking me to school?" It was sweet, but I hadn't been planning on it.

He paused, "uh yeah... I'm taking the girls so I might as well take my girl too."

What was he up to? I asked him and he played the role of the innocent. Hmm, he was being too sketchy.

"Just get ready Kerry," he rushed me off the phone.

I hopped out of the bed and started my old morning ritual. I showered, using the bath wash that Spence loved. I put on my bra an underwear and stood in my closet for a long ass time.

I called Spencer for help.

"Babe?"

"Yeah Spence I need help. What should I wear?"

He groaned and mumbled a bunch of mush on the lines of him wanting me naked and to himself. Talk about mind being in the gutter. "A sweater and jeans sounds good."

My eyebrows furrowed. Did I hear him correctly? "Excuse me? Do you know how hot it is outside?"

"Uh do you know about hormonal teen boys? All they'll do is stare at your legs. Cover up."

"Ohh," I smirked. "Is this a territorial werewolf thing? You don't want your mate looking sexy in front of other boys, huh?" I laughed evilly. Oh I now knew how to give him a heart attack.

"Kerri, no!" He whined.

"I'll see you later Spency," I grinned.

I picked out the perfect outfit and went downstairs for breakfast. Surprisingly, it was quiet. I called out for my parents but they didn't respond.

Taking a deep breath, I tried to relax before I started to cry.

'It's okay Kerri. It doesn't matter. They're only missing out on your last first day of school. No big deal. It's not like they didn't pay attention to you at all this summer.'

My grip tightened maliciously onto the glass I got out for my juice. Acting out of anger, I let it fly against the wall.

I hate this. I need to get out of this place. What kind of bullshit is this?!

"Kerri, sweetie! What was that?"

My back went rigid. What the fuck. They're here?

"Um... Where are you guys?" I walked out of the kitchen and into the computer room.

"Hey Sweetie your father put your breakfast in the microwave. He had to leave early for work," she rolled her eyes. "I'm making your favorites for dinner tonight."

Okay so why the hell is my mother smiling at me? Did she crash my car or something? Are we moving? What is this shit?

"I'm going to finish getting ready," I backed away slowly, keeping an apprehensive eye on my mom.

I managed to eat the amazing breakfast, and apply my makeup with time to spare. The doorbell rang and my mom beat me to it.

"Oh Good morning Spencer! Nice to see you sweetheart."
