Kerri

After work on Monday, Spencer took me out. I had no clue where he was taking me. All i saw were trees and knew that we were somewhere in the Hollywood hills.

"Look out your window."

I listened to Spencer and gasped. It was beautiful. The view would make anyone want to move to Los Angeles. It was gorgeous. The lights downtown mixed with the lights from the cars contributing to lighting up the night sky.

Spencer helped me out of the Jeep and opened the back of the trunk.

"This is amazing Spencer," I kiss his cheek.

"What can I say? I know what a girl likes."

"Whatever." He raised an eyebrow at me before handing me a plastic bag.

I opened it up and a silly smile started to take over.

"I guess you do know what a girl likes."

In the bag there were different types of chewy candies and two Arizona Iced teas.

"Told ya'."

We sat in the back of his Jeep staring out at the horizon eating candy and drinking tea.

"I'm not sure if anyone's told you this before but you're a very sweet guy."

"I'm not sure if anyone's told you this before but you're a very beautiful girl, inside and out."

I bit back a smile and snuggled into his side.

"See. Point proven."

He laughed and kissed the top of my head.

"Spencer?"

"Yeah?"

"Don't you love the moon?" He gave me a weird look. "Look at it. It's gorgeous."

Tonight the moon was a big, bright crescent.

"Not as gorgeous as you."

"Shush. Just look at it. I know it sounds stupid but a dream of mine ever since I was a little girl was to go to the moon. It has always mersmerized me."

I don't know why but I just love the moon and the stars. I find all the constellations and different types of stars to be fascinating.

"That doesn't sound stupid at all. Do you want to know what a big dream of mine was back then?"

"Duh. I bet you wanted to be Spiderman."

"Nope. I wanted to be a fisherman."

"Why a fisherman?"

He shrugged, "it just seemed cool. To travel the world catching fish."

"Every man's dream."

"Shut up. I liked the thought of it when I was younger."

"And what thoughts do you like now?"

"The thought of you and I together," shocked, I looked up only to catch his eyes staring at mine. They were so green and inviting. For some reason, it just felt like they were reeling me in. There was no place that I'd rather be than with Spencer right now, and as I thought about it, there was no place that I'd ever rather be than with Spencer.

I wanted to be with him for as long as possible. I wasn't a fan of fairy tale romances. They never came true. It only happenned in the movies. In reality, married couples fight and get divorces. At least that's what I've picked up from the older couples around me.

I wanted Spencer and I together for as long as fate would allow it. I know relationships you have when you're younger rarely ever work out, even if you do get pregnant and married while you're in high school, it doesn't work out smoothly. With Spencer, I'm going to hold on to him until it's time to let go.

I can only hope that the time doesn't come anytime soon.

"I must say, I like that too," I whispered lightly.

Spencer pressed his lips to mine and there was an atomic explosion of emotions. He cupped my cheek and I tugged on his shirt wanting him closer.

Our tongues danced wildly yet intricately together. It was like an improv duet that made sense and flowed smoothly. Our mouths were dancing partners so to speak and our minds and heated emotions were the choreographers shouting out at the dancers to feel the rhythm and to give it their all.

The dancers danced hard. They were fierce. They wanted to show their affection and connection to one another. They took turns being the leader and trusted each other completely. Sadly, the dancers had to take a break from all their hard work.

We were both panting hard and Spencer's warm head was pressed against mine as we stared into each other's eyes. Once again, I felt like his eyes were pulling me to him.

I whimpered as his lips crashed back onto mine. I let my fingers tangle into his hair and allowed myself to relax and savor the exciting emotions running through me.

Running out of energy, our kisses quickly died down to pecks. I intertwined my fingers with Spencer's and shivered when he whispered in my ear. "You're mine."
