A/N: I seriously can't leave you guys for one night without getting 20+ reads, can I? Haha.

Okay, so because this story gets like a million reads I'm going to make it 20 reads= update.

And can anyone that read my original District Two fanfic read the newest Alternate Ending? I can barely get ten reads per chapter. If you want to read it but don't want to read the entire original, just look at the summary and read up to whatever chapter in the original.

Okay, on with the story...

I spend my day smiling at initiate's parents and assuring them that their child is doing great, even if they're not-Myra- or if they're picking on other initiates- Peter, since Molly and Drew's families haven't shown their faces.

Al's mother has asked me- twice- if I've seen her son. I say no, I haven't, that I haven't even been to the initiates' room this morning but he might be there. Both times she returned saying that she didn't see him there.

Tris never returns. Well, she hasn't yet. Something tells me that she's with Al, and I get an odd, nasty feeling in my stomach. For some reason, I imagine them kissing. I shake the image out of my head. I've seen how he looks at her, sure. Like she could make him a better person, but Tris could do that to anyone. But especially like he wants her. And not in a friend way, either. More like...lovers, I guess you could call it.

But I see the way Tris looks at him, too. She only thinks of him as a friend, though I assume she's smart enough to know that he has a crush on her. Christina and Will, though, look at each other in a closer-than-friends way. What is up with these initiates? Seriously, they're either insane or they've got a crush on another initiate. Or they're Tris, who's only goal is to get past initiation.

Did my last group of initiates really have to be these ones?

All of the initiates discuss possible scores for stage one tonight. They're all worried that they'll come in last.

Tris and her group sit at a table in the corner, Peter and his friends only a table away. Christina and Will are arguing over something stupid- like always. Al and Tris's eyes meet- it's a habit of theirs whenever Christina and Will argue- and  then they immediately look away.

"Looks like Uri and I owe you." Zeke nudges my arm with his elbow.

Uriah's head snaps up. "Aw, dammit. I was hoping that I'd be right!" He moans. Lauren, Lynn, Shauna, and Marlene look at us in confusion.

"What?" Lauren asks.

I roll my eyes. "They made a bet against me. Zeke said that Al wouldn't have the guts to make a move on Tris, and Uriah said that it would happen after initiation. I said the day of Visiting Day or during initiation before then."

"How'd you guess?" Shauna asks.

I shrug. "It's simple. He's Candor, and he's been raised to always speak his mind. His feelings for her are obvious. I'm pretty sure that she can tell too."

"Well how'd you guys know that he made a move?" Lynn asks. Then she smirks. "Did Four ask her?"

I roll my eyes at her. "No. They just made eye contact and looked away. Both of them seem awkward about the whole thing, which usually only happens when one friend approaches another in a romantic way and the other rejects them."

Tris fidgits and hides her hands in her sleeves. Christina and Al both point this out, and she does a little more. I hear something about the aptitude test. So Tris must be Divergent. Either that or she just really doesn't like talking about her results. Maybe she got Abnegation but came here anyway.
