I climb into the train car, with Tris right on my heels. For a second I'm worried about kicking her, but I shake it off. However, she's obviously still sore from her fight with Peter, so I turn around and hold out my hand to help her in. She takes it and lets go as soon as she's in. Without looking at me, she goes to sit on the opposite side of the car. That stings, but I ignore the feeling and make sure that everyone else gets into the car.
Once everyone's in, I speak up. "We'll be dividing into two teams to play capture the flag. Each team will have an even mix of members. One team wil go off first and hide their flag. Then the second team will do the same." The car sways, and I grab the doorway to steady myself. I barely glance at Tris, who I can feel is watching me. "This is a Dauntless tradition, so I suggest you take it seriously."
"What do we get if we win?" A Dauntless-born asks. I see Lauren rolls her eyes from her spot near me. She's just here to make sure that her initiates don't do anything too stupid.
"Sounds like the type of question someone not from Dauntless would ask." I raise an eyebrow. "You get to win, of course."
"Four and I will be your team captains." Eric looks at me. "Let's divide up the transfers first, shall we?"
"You go first."
