"Travis. Hey Travis wake up!" I slowly opened my eyes to see Danny hovering over me. "We have to be at tonight's venue in an hour to do a quick sound check, get up!" I got out of bed and saw Danielle beside me. She woke up when I started to get up.
"Good morning," I looked down at her, smiling. She just moaned and pulled the sheets over her head. I got up and proceeded to go get ready for sound check. I pulled on a pair of dark skinny jeans and a black v-neck. I brushed my teeth and fixed my hair a bit without brushing it. If I brushed it, the brush would just get lost in my thick red hair. I put on my Vans and grabbed my phone from the nightstand. Danielle was gone meaning she probably went to her room to get changed. I checked the messages left on my phone which I guessed were from the guys. The first was from Coley.
*We walked Danielle to her room. We're with Charles and Hunter meet us in Room 1258*
The rest of the messages were from last night asking me and Danielle if we wanted anything. The last one was from Alex.
*As soon as she feels confortable to talk, please tell her to call me. If you're still in Baltimore on Friday, please come to our show. I'll put you and Danielle on the guestlist and you guys can just come in. Please Travis. I need your help*
Tomorrow was Friday and I doubted she would be okay by then, but it could be good for her. I wasn't sure what to do but I did know we had a day off. I quickly sent him a text back.
*I doubt she'll feel better by tomorrow but I'll see if I feel like coming. You really screwed up dude but I'll help as much as I can. You're still my friend and I'll try and help you out. Have to go now, talk to you about it tomorrow.*
I headed down to Charles and Hunter's room which was down the hall from ours. I knocked on the door and it was answered a few seconds later by Coley. Everyone was getting dressed and getting ready to go to the venue. They had ordered room service so we all ate whatever was there then went to the venue.
The venue was smaller then usual. We quickly did our sound check then relaxed before the show. Alex kept texting me, making sure I was coming tomorrow night. It was our last night here, why not? Danielle sat beside Hunter today, not letting go of his side. They were really close friends and they had been ever since we first met her last year.
I sat around and practiced for the show the whole day without anyone else distracting me. I needed this practice time and since all of the guys and Danielle left to walk around, I had a bit of time to myself. The time flew by and before I knew it, we were on the bus back to the hotel. It was a crazy night and everyone was exhausted except me.
I lay awake in bed over thinking about everything. Danielle didn't talk to me today at all which concerned me. I didn't know if she was mad or if she just needed time with the other guys. I was becoming way too attached to her but I couldn't help it. Was I developing feelings for this girl? I pulled out my phone and looked for her name in the list of texts.
*Hey Danielle, since we have a day off in Baltimore tomorrow, I wanted to know if you wanted to come to this concert with me. I was invited to go and I thought maybe you should come with me?*
A few minutes later she replied.
*Um sure I'll come. What concert?*
Shit.
*I forget what they're called but my friend sings in the band and he wanted me to come check his band out.*
I felt like you could tell I was lying but in my defence, I hadn't been slept properly in the longest time. She agreed anyways. I let Alex know I would be coming and he gave me instructions on what to do once I got there. It was straight forward but it would be easy to mess up. I knew that Danielle would probably hate me after this too but if it meant helping a long-time friend of mine, it would be worth it to him. I mean, that's the only reason I was really doing it, right?
