TRIS-

Pulling on the purple dress from last night, I did one final scan of the room making sure everything was in order. I'm pretty sure this dress was the only bit of colour in this entire room. Everything is just black. The walls, the ceiling, the rug, the bed. Everything.

Even with the small lamp flicked on, it was still so dark. I couldn't understand how anyone could like this. It felt like living in an old black and white movie.

Each to their own I guess...

I slipped out the door and down the stairs without making a sound, the small click of the from the front door was the only signal I'd left. The cold morning air hit me like a slap in the face the second I'd stepped over the threshold.

The streets are quite. Only a few cars pass by this cold Sunday morning.

By the time I get home, I'm pretty sure that hypothermia is setting in, but that's not what I'm worried about. What I'm worrying about is the broad shouldered, blue eyed boy that's sat on my porch. Tobias.

Oh dear God, what's wrong now? I thought, registering his scowl as we met eyes from afar.

"Tobias, why are you here?" I questioned, walking up the wooden steps.

"Caleb wouldn't let me in."

"I gathered that, but why are you at my house?"

"Well," he said, as if he was prepared to deliver a speech for world peace. "I've decided that we're gonna go out today and I'm not taking no for an answer."

"And what if I have plans?"

"Do you?"

"No-"

"So that point is invalid."

He's infuriating. I sent an impatient glare, silently requesting for him to continue.

"Where were you last night?" He asked, completely changing the subject.

"What's that got to do with anything?"

"No reason..." He drawled out, taking the hint that I was not going to be disclosing that information.

I could see my breath forming before my face in the cold air. Yep, I was about to turn into an ice block.

"Well do you want to come in? I need to shower and change before you kidnap me for your day out," I said, already unlocking the door.

He just nodded, following me through the door.

"Caleb I'm home!"

"Finally," that was followed by a round of profanities. "Is Tobias still waiting outside like a lost puppy?"

"No, I let him in," I called and almost laughed as the profanities returned. I swear Caleb has anger issues.
