I saw my friend yesterday perform in Annie (a musical) and I really liked the choreography and so thus this one shot happened

-----

"...and when the music goes 'empty bellies' you're all going to wrap your arms around your stomach and fall to your knees." the choreographer explained, facing the kids who were playing the orphans. "But make the fall slow," he continued, demonstrating as the kids did the moves with him, "be there by the time you're all singing 'it's the hard knock life'. Got it?" he spoke kindly, making sure the kids were catching on.

"Yep!" they all chirped.

"You guys wanna go from the top with music?" he asked, hopping off the stage and plugging his phone into the stereo.

"Do we have a choice, Mister Mark?" one of the girl said, giggling after. Mark looked up at her and shook his head.

"Nope! You have ten seconds then I'm pressing play!" Mark warned, watching the kids scramble to get into their formations. Mark pressed play and watched the kids, doing the motions with them on the parts they had learned today. They made it to the second chorus and started messing up, Mark stopping and getting back on the stage to go over the dance.

Mark was teaching them the final moves when a voice caught his attention. He turned around and saw Jack, walking down the isles of the seats with a brown paper bag.

"J-Jack!" Mark exclaimed, feeling the actors and actress' eyes on him. "What are you doing here?"

"I brought you lunch!" Jack chirped, holding up the bag with a proud grin on his face.

"Go ahead and practice what we already learned, everyone!" Mark told the dancers, jumping off the stage and heading toward Jack after. Multiple pairs of footsteps were heard as the 'orphans' practiced, Mark feeling sure no one was looking at the two.

"You know we get lunch here, Jack." Mark said, taking the bag from the other man. Mark looked inside and saw a small container, pulling it out he saw it was filled with brownies.

"I know, I just missed you." Jack said, feeling guilty afterwards. Mark saw how Jack's face dropped, and he quickly wrapped his arms around the smaller in a hug while he sat the bag on a seat.

"I'm glad you came, because half of the kids are driving me crazy." Mark whispered, hearing Jack chuckle. Mark pulled away and started going back to the stage, hearing Jack clear his throat behind him.

Mark turned around and walked back to Jack, placing his hands on the other's hips and giving him a peck on the lips. Mark blushed as he did so and placed another peck on the corner of Jack's mouth, Jack giving him one more kiss.

"EW!" many of the orphans yelled, making the couple turn around to see the kids giving them disgusting faces. Mark was a little hurt at this, seeing as most of the cast was at least 13.

"Oh, grow up!" one of the older girls said, causing everyone to look at her with confused expressions. "What? They're cute together!"

Mark and Jack laughed as the girl who stood up for them just waved.
