I woke up at 8:30 on the dot and hopped right into the shower and washing up quickly. I grabbed a silvery gray dress and put it on, and took it off, it wasn't perfect. I heard a knock on the door, so I threw my towel back on. "Come in." I said simply. Before I knew it Gerard walked through my door.

"Hey Brook. Why are you in a towel, of I'm allowed to ask." He said.

"I was trying to find something to wear. I can't find anything for today." I said to him. He walks over to my closet and pulls out a simple strapless knee length black dress.

"This is stunning. Put it on with a black overcoat." Gerard said. He left the room and I put the dress on with my black overcoat and a pair of black flats. Gerard knocked again and I opened the door for him.

"Is it still stunning?" I asked him.

"Even more than before. Need help?" He asked as I was trying to straighten my hair.

"No I got it" I struggled. He grabbed the flat iron and helped me do my hair, and while he straightened it, I did my makeup. I did black eye shadow with black eyeliner and mascara. We both finished at the same time and I swung around and he caught me.

"Beautiful." He grinned. "Allow me to take you out for coffee and breakfast. Dunkin Donuts sound good?"

"You don't have too-"

"Too bad! I'm going to. Your parents already know." He interrupted.

"Yea Dunkin Donuts sounds good."

"Great, let's go." He says, and gently grabs my hand. I squeezed his hand as we walked out, but I let go just as I see my sister. We walked out the door to his car and opens the door for me, seating me in the passenger seat. He sat in the drivers side and handed me a large CD case. "Pick what you please, dear." I pick a soft CD, it was Three Days Grace.

"I love this band, but not as much as I love My Chemical Romance." I said as he slid the CD into the stereo. He began singing along to Time Of Dying.

"We're here." He said, smiling. He got out and opened my door an walked me in. "What do you want, love?"

"Um I'll have a mint hot chocolate and an èclair."

"Okay. Don't worry about paying me back."

"Okay." I said,  as he walked up and ordered our food and drinks. He came back a few minutes later with his coffee and a donut along with mine.

"You really didn't have to do this." I told him

"Yes, I really did. Don't argue with me." He replied. I took a bite of my éclair. He ate his donut as well and we left with our coffees. He grabbed my hand with his free hand and he opened my door. We continued to listen to music while going to the studio until suddenly Gerard stopped the music.

"Gerard, what are you doing?" I asked him. He was silent. Suddenly, he began to sing.

"When I was a young boy, my father, took me into the city, to see a marching band. He said 'son when you grow up, would you be the savior of the broken, the beaten and the damned?' He said 'will you defeat them, you demons? And all the nonbelievers, the plans that they have made. Because one day, I'll leave you a phantom, to lead you in the summer, to join the black parade." He sang

"Wait, wait. That's the song I helped you with!" I said.

"Yes, one of the ones we are recording today. We are only recording a few of the songs for the album today though." He said, as we turned into the studio. He opened the door for me and we walked inside.
