Chapter 50

Gerard got here just before whoever is bringing the kids. "Brook do not go with him." I hear my brother, yet again, as Gee, Lyn-z and I were packing up boxes and stuff.

"Wayne you don't control my life." I say simply.

"Yes, but he hurt you, and I don't want you to be with people who have hurt you." My brother argues.

"Yes, well, you've hurt me. I want to be with him, and you're going to have to accept that." I say, putting my last box in Gerard's trailer. 

"I will NOT accept it." He shouts.

"Then you aren't my brother. You aren't my kids' uncle. Goodbye Wayne. Bye mom and dad, I love you." I say, hugging my parents goodbye.

"Goodbye honey, invite us to the wedding, call often." My mom says.

"I will I promise." I say. I hook the kids into their car seats and we take off to California.

"Just so you know, we will be stopping at hotels on the way because it's like a 5-day drive if we drive almost nonstop." Gee says to me, as he grabs my hand.

"That's perfectly okay with me, babe." I say. I stare out the window, and look at all trees just passing by and I fell asleep like that.

I woke up in a hotel room. Gerard was beside me, I was wrapped in his arms, and he was just looking at me, he must've been admiring me while I was sleeping. "Morning Geebear." I say to him.

"Good morning my queen. Our little princesses and prince haven't woken up yet. I was just watching you sleep because you're beautiful." He says back to me. I kiss him and get up to take a shower, and he follows me.

"What, are you getting in with me?" I ask him. 

"Yes, I am." He says, gently pushing me up against the wall, as we were both undressed. 

"Mmm, okay, but we gotta make this quick." I tell him. I adjust the water and we both get in and get to washing and rinsing our hair before its a make-out session again. 

"Okay, let's wash up before we wake the kids up. But the first night at the new house, Ronnie is gonna be watching the kids so we ca have our own bit of fun, okay?" He says to me.

"Mmm okay babe. That can be arranged. As long as the idiot and the rest of our idiotic friends are setting up what's already over there the correct way." I say as I wash up. I rinse off and get out of the shower, dry off and get dressed. I do this all in time before little Gee begins to cry, waking the girls up as well.  

"Babe I got the girls, I'll give them baths while you feed and change him, and get him dressed." Gerard says, herding the girls into the bathroom. I pick up the baby and feed him and burp him and then change his diaper and get him dressed. Soon after I finish that, Serry runs out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her half way. 

"Babe, is she done?" I say to him from the main room.

"Yea, wanna dry her off and get her dressed?" He says. 

"Yea." I reply back, grabbing her and drying her off, then finding her bag of clothes. I find them and grab her and put her clothes on her, then brush her hair, pulling it into a French braid. Gee clothes Tya and he pack up, pay for the night we stayed, and get back on the road. We stop at a McDonald's to get some breakfast, then we are off on the road.

Gerard's P.O.V.

We've been on the road for about 3 and a half days, and we are in Utah, almost there, thankfully. Brook is driving for now, and we are gonna pull off at another hotel soon, so we all can get a good night's sleep. "Babe, next hotel you see, pull in." I say to her, almost half-asleep.

"Okay, babe. Will do, I'm getting pretty tired myself." She says, as I fall asleep.

"Baby, wake up, we're at a hotel." Brook wakes me up. I grab my bag and we take the kids and sign in, and go to our room. She puts the girls in one bed, and notices there's no crib or anything we can lay the baby in.

"Babe, there's nowhere to put the baby." She tells me. 

"Well, I guess he's gonna have to sleep with us. You fine with that?" I say.

"Yea, I guess we can make that work, he can sleep in between us." She says. She crawls into the other bed and lays the baby beside her, in the middle of the bed, and I crawl in on the other side of him, and we both fall asleep really fast.

"Daddy, daddy, daddy, wake up!" I hear one of the girls cry, waking me up. I finally open my eyes to see two pairs of eyes gleaming up at me - a blue pair and a hazel pair. Both of the girls are awake.

"What-y, what-y?" I mimic them. 

"There's someone at the door, I heard knocking." One said

"I had a nightmare." the other said. 

"Babe why are the girls awake?" Brook mumbled from the other side of the bed.

"I got it, babe, just go back to sleep." I told her, and she immediately falls back asleep. 

"Daddy, I'm scared." Serry said, trying to climb into the bed with Brook, little Gee, and me.

"Serry, it's okay, there's nothing to be scared of. I'm gonna go see if there's anyone here, you two go lay back down." I say. They do what I told them too, and I go check the door. Its still locked. I unlock it and peer out, to see nothing but darkness, before something hits me, or someone.  

""Owww!" I scowl.

"Shhhh." I hear someone's voice, it sounds like Ronnie's.

"Ronnie, what the actual fuck? If that's you, you woke up the girls by scaring them!" I say to the person,

"Um, I have no clue who you are, my name isn't Ronnie, and I have no clue who you are talking about, and I apologize for waking up your girls." The dude says. "But you do sound familiar, as if you're famous."

"Dude, I'm Gerard fucking Way. I am famous." I scoff.

"Oh. Perfect, just the guy I need to see." He says.

"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?" I whisper-scream.

"Call me Aron. I'm friends with Ronnie Radke and Dahvie Vanity." He says.

"Whipty-fucking-do! What do you want?" I ask him. 

"How do you know Jorel?" He asks.

"I went to school with him for a short time, and he and I became friends, why?"

"Oh. Just watch out, he might stab you in the back like he did me. You may go back now, goodbye." He said, before running off. That was fucking weird. I go back into the room where the girls are sleeping again, so I kiss them goodnight and crawl back into bed with Brook and Jr and go back to sleep.
