Chapter 25

Brook's P.O.V.

I woke up to be blinded by bright lights and a beeping noise, noticing that I was, once again, in the fucking hospital. "Hello?" I said, to have a nurse walk in. 

"Yes dear?" She said back. 

"Can I get a coffee?" I ask her.

"Sweetie, the doctor said you aren't allowed to have any drink that has caffeine in it quite yet." She told me. That fucker! I want fucking coffee, but I guess tea will have to work.

"Okay then I'll have a tea. And I have a question, how long have I been here?" I ask.

"I can get you tea, and you've been in a small coma for about 4 days. You also have visitors, and they requested to see you awake, they arrived about 20 minutes ago." The nurse said.

"Well then send them up." I said. She nodded and left the room, giving me time to think. Who could the visitors be? It couldn't be Gee, he is at school, and Mikey and Frank don't know I'm here, but neither does Gee. The nurse soon came back with my tea and 4 boys and a girl showed up. 3 of the boys were, ironically, Gee, Mikey, and Frank, and I had no clue who the other dude was, and I didn't know who the girl was either.

"Brook! Thank gosh you're okay!" Gee came up, gently hugging me.

"Hi Gerard, and Mikey and Frank, I know you guys want hugs, get your asses over here." I said. They came over and hugged me gently as well.

"I thought you were at school, and you guys were in Jersey and I have no clue who these other people are. So whoever brought them here, explain." I said. The girl laughed a little bit.

"Its nice to meet you, as Gee has never shut up about you since he found out you were in the hospital. I'm Lindsey, and this is Jimmy. And you're asking why we are here and not in school, its because its a weekend. So, we decided that since your brother kept giving us updates that we'd pick up Mikey and Frank, because Ray is at his grandma's house and didn't want to bug him, and decided to come and meet you." She explained.  

"Oh, are you the girl I talked to on the phone? Or is that the other girl?" I asked her.

"Nope, that was me, Jennifer wouldn't have picked up Gee's phone if her life depended on it." She said. "She doesn't like Gerard at all, which is why she didn't come with us." 

"Oh. Sounds like a bitch." I said. Lindsey and Gee nodded. "Why is the Jimmy dude so quiet?" 

"Good question. Normally he is loud and obnoxious." Gee said.

"Know how I told him that we were going to a surprise destination after Jersey?" Yea, this is that 'surprise destination'.  He doesn't like hospitals." Lindsey said.

"Oh." Gee said simply. 

"Gerard, is there mother-fucking coffee in the cup that you are holding?" I said.

"Yes, why?" He replied. 

"Because this tea tastes like shit, and the nurse said I'm not allowed to have coffee, and I want some. So can I have a sip? Please?" I begged.

"Are you gonna tell the nurse?" He asked. I shook my head no. He gave me his cup and I took a drink of it. 

"Thank you." I told him, giving it back to him. 

"Mikey, Frank, what's up, why so quiet?" Lindsey said. "You guys were perfectly fine in the car."

"I'm just trying to take everything in." They both said at once, when Frank suddenly got a phone call. He muted it and the nurse came in.

"Miss Cherry your parents just signed you out, you are free to go." The nurse said, unhooking my IVs.

"Thank fucking God." Jimmy muttered. 

"IT SPEAKS!!" I said, making him laugh. We all walked down to the lobby where my parents stood, waiting for me. 

"Say bye to your friends, we gotta get going, we have stuff to do." My mom rushed. I hugged everyone except Jimmy, whom I shook hands with, but I went back and gave Gee and longer hug and kissed his cheek and mouthed 'I love you' at him before we all left. 

"Why so rushed?" I asked my mother. 

"We are moving once again. Someone is out to get us, and we don't know who. We all got new phones and everything, we burned the old ones, and put new license plates on the cars and literally everything. Mikey gave me the CD they reserved for you as well, by the way, I thanked him for you." She explained.

"Oh. Who is out to get us and why? And thanks for telling Mikey thanks." I said.

"We don't know who its is, all we know is that every single one of us got a call form the same unknown caller saying that he was going to murder us and steal all of our money and a whole other bunch of bullshit. All of us meaning your dad, me, Wayne, Violet, and we even got from your phone. We know it wasn't a prank because they called all of us about 5 times. We still have no clue who it is." She said, hurriedly putting me in the car. We drove down the highway as fast as we could so we could finish putting the boxes in the trailer and truck.

Gerard's P.O.V.

Brook gave me a longer hug after she hugged everyone else, and she also kissed my cheek, which made me blush. We were heading back to Jersey to drop dumb and dumber back off at moms house, and everyone except Lyn-z and I, was sleeping. "So, why did she kiss your cheek and mouth 'I love you' to you? She have like a secret crush on you or something?" Lyn-z asked me.

"No, she's my ex-girlfriend. We were forced to break up when she moved back to PA, and we miss each other very much, we still have feelings for each other." I explained.

"Oh. Sorry to hear that." She said as we pulled into my moms driveway. 

"Dumb, dumber and dumbest get the fuck up!" I said, opening the door and letting the cold Jersey wind blow through the car, waking them up.

"What the fuck, dude!" Jimmy said.

"Welcome to Jersey! Everyone here is a fucking asshole, time to get up and meet my parents quickly." I snickered. He sighed and got up, along with Frank and Mikey, who hurried into the house. The rest of us followed, and I was greeted with hugs.

"Hey Gee! I missed you!" My mom said, while hugging me.

"I can't stay long, but I am going to introduce you to 2 of my roommates, since the other bitch don't like me. Anyways, this is Jimmy and Lyn-z, they are in the band Mindless Self Indulgence." I told my mom. They waved hi, and shook hands with my mom.

"Well, its nice meeting you 2, I'll let you guys go back to New York now. I love you Gerard." My mom embarrassed me by saying. 

"Love you too, mom." I said before we left.
