Chapter 53

"Tyaiga and Jr. I went to go get them and they weren't in their beds." I said. "They were kidnapped."

"Oh honey, we need to tell people. I'll call around and tell people." Lyn-z said, supporting me. She grabbed her phone and put me in Gee's arms, and he held and embraced me. She called lots of people, and texted a lot too. 

"Hey baby, let's watch the news. Maybe something will be on there." Gee said, turning on the news, after I've calmed down.

"Reported missing are two siblings of the same parents, 2 year old Tyaiga Marie Melody Way and Gerard Arthur Way Jr., reported missing this morning when the couple woke up to their other daughters crying for her twin sister. We will back on the scene later tonight. Now, Tom, with the weather..." 

Gerard shut the TV off and we went out to the park with Serry. It's a good thing for us to do. "Babe?" I say to Gee.

"Yes, my dear?" He answers.

"What if we never find them?" I ask him.

"I won't stop searching, I'll die looking for them if I have to." He says, kissing me on the cheek as we get to the park with Serenity. The paparazzi already caught up to us. 

"Hey, Gerard, Brook, come over here." One of them said.

"Where's the actual news crew so they can have our documentary?" Gerard says, already irritated.

"Um, over there, sir." The paparazzi says. Gee picks up Serenity and grabs my hand and walks us over to the news reporters. 

"And here we are with the parents and sibling of the missing children, Tyaiga and Gerard Jr." The lady says to the camera. She hand the mic over to Gerard, who begins to speak into it.

"I woke up to a quiet house, and I wasn't woken up once during that night, so I knew something wasn't right. I went downstairs and before I knew it my daughter, the one I'm holding, came crying down the stairs screaming 'Tya, sissy, Tya, sissy.' And I thought it was no big deal, as I thought Tyaiga was still sleeping." He said, handing the mic to me. 

"But after I got out of the shower as he went downstairs, I hear her sobbing for her sister. So, I pick her up and take her up to the nursery, which is Jr.'s room, and I saw he wasn't in his crib. Then I knew something was wrong, so I went into Tyaiga and Serenity's room, and looked in Tya's bed, and she wasn't there, so I called for her around the house, as she normally comes to me. But she didn't, and Gee told me that she wasn't there." I finished, almost sobbing.

"Okay, thank you. You may go if where you please now." The female reporter said, signing off. I went over to the bench and got on Twitter, and all I saw was my missing children. Every post. Gee went to the swings and swung Serry on the swings, trying to make her a little happier. Before I know it, she's laying her head on my knees, looking up at me with her bright blue eyes. 

"Yes, sweetie?" I ask her.

"Hungry" She says, rubbing her stomach. 

"Well, what do you want?" I ask her.

"Ice cream!" She says.

"Alright, let's go tell daddy. Go tell him!" I tell her. She runs over to Gerard, who's talking with someone, and tugs on his pants. I give a small smile and take a picture of it, posting it on Twitter with a caption saying 'go ask daddy! @gerardway'. I get instant notifications from it.

"Okay babe, let's go for ice cream." Gerard says, holding Serry and holding his hand out to me. I take it and we head to the car. We drive down to the mall and head to the food court, and to the ice cream shop that's in there.

"Hi, how may I help you?" The waitress says. 

"Um yes, can I get a baby chocolate bowl with sprinkles, a medium coffee-and chocolate twist cone with sprinkles and a large coffee cone." Gee says to her. 

"Okay, will that be everything?" She asks.

"Yes." Gee replies.

"Okay, give me just a minute and I will be right back with that." She says, and leaves to make our ice cream. She comes back a moment later with our ice cream. "Okay, so the baby dish is for the baby, I'm assuming, so here's that, and here's the cones. That will be $10.56" she says. Gee gives her the money and we eat our ice cream. Serry digs into the ice cream, getting it all over her face.

"Serenity, slow down, you're getting it all over yourself." I say, wiping off her face with a napkin. "Eat slower baby girl."

"Babe, she's two. She doesn't know any better." Gee tries to say.

"Well it's better to teach them young." I say, as we all finish our ice cream. I pick up my messy child and we walk out to the car, well I at least try to. Gerard drags me into a jewelry store

"Babe, I wanna get her a lock-it. I know she won't be able to wear it yet, but I still wanna get it for her." Gerard says. "I wanna get one for Tya too, even though I won't be able to give it to her."

"Well, okay. Serry can still wear lock-its. We'll just have to change the chain every once in awhile so it fits her properly. We will get one for Tya as well." I tell him. "But what are we gonna put in it?"

"Well, when I was up here the last time, I kinda pre-ordered them. All I have to do is give them the picture to put in it. Which is gonna be one of all of us. One Vanessa took for us." He told me.

"Wait, all of us, including Jr.?" I ask him.

"Yea. Ya know, the one Vanessa took of us when we were moving me out of the apartment." he explains to me.

"Oh okay. Well then let's get this done." I say. He tells them the info and we get the lock-its and leave.
